Santa Fe Mexican Grill

I have been going to this restaurant since I started working in the area over three years ago. The food is tasty! For the past few months I've notice a change in management. They have an older~dark hair~small frame gentleman who runs the establishment. He struggles to understand and speak the English language. I order the same items each time I visit, a grilled soft chicken taco and a small cheese dip. The last couple times I've visited he seems to have trouble understanding my order, not sure why since this hasn't been an issue in the past. After such poor treatment I refused to spend my money where they do not value their customers. The gentleman was very rude and disrespectful! I since he is overworked and understaffed, but you should never sacrifice customer service!

Just go to Taco Bell. The orders were wrong and the food was so bland that only geriatric people who've never had Mexican food will tolerate it. Just go to Taco Bell.

I been eating here since they open I’ve notice they won’t answer the phone after 8 I called around 8:10 almost 5 times and they won’t even tell you they not serving I’m done with this place might as well just drive up the road 10 mins to sw cause they act like we need them and we just want to eat good

Absolutely terrible. They were nice at first when placing the order and picking it up. However, when I returned to the house (2 miles from the restaurant), I found that one of the plates I ordered was incorrect. It was the steak and shrimp with a baked potato. When ordering, it was stated twice that the steak needs to be medium and the potato needed extra sour cream and cheese on the side. The order was even repeated back! The steak was beyond well done, had queso on it (it does not state this on the menu and was ordered specifically bc my friend thought no cheese came on it), and there was very little cheese and no sour cream at all on the potato. My friend called to let them know if this error and that he was bringing it back to be fixed. They had the audacity to tell him they wouldn't fix it bc he "could've put it in the oven and cooked it more himself". Seriously?! They then tell him he shouldn't bother coming up there until Monday (its Saturday) when a manager is there. Upon arrival, my friend finds the owner there. The server attempted to lie about what we had ordered! The owner tried to just give my friend $5 instead of simply fixing the food. The plate itself cost more than that!

Besides that very unnecessary and extremely rude and unprofessional behavior of both the server and owner, my order was almost entirely correct. The tortilla ship is supposed to come with cheese and they didn't put any at all in mine and my shrimp was all very chewy from being overcooked.

As far as taste, compared to many other Mexican restaurants, this particular place lacks flavor. It's not the worst I've had, but it was all very bland. The rice was bland, the tortilla soup tasted only like boiled chicken and white rice, and their salsa is so mild that it taste like straight tomato sauce.

All in all, I do not recommend this place to anyone. The food isn't worth the price and the staff is very unprofessional.

I owned 3 meals. & they all were not good. Rice was under cooked, yet all the meat was over cooked. There is no flavor at all everything was bland. Had to add el tapatiio so there was sum flavor. Taco bell would of been a better choice. Never again will I eat from there.

Never had a problem. One of the cheaper spots to eat for a crew or 2.

It smelled bad inside and the biggest disappointment was apparently the only cheese they know is the white cheese which I can't stand. There are no other options so i paid for my drink and left. Definitely will not return there again

for me it was just right. freshly cooked perfectly to the "T" the host explained everything ie: charges for to go container and so on. I'm not sure I understand it correctly but I can always confirm when I order. I had the chicken fajita chimichanga. Friendly.
