The ribs today was tore up the sauce was inside the bag instead of on the ribs and they was salty the cashier was asked to check the plates upon leaving the plate should have been sent back I'm a regular customer but today the service was distasteful?

The Food had good flavor but today 3-29-24 and about a month ago I purchased a order of Ribs they was so tough you couldn’t bite them and at the bottom of they tray they had some burnt over cooked ends of the Ribs I figured today they might be better than last time but they were no good I them in the trash can as well I was giving them benefit of doubt and I was right the first time the ribs were not good. I wasted my money and didn’t get what I paid for

Our first stop after checking in hotel in Little Rock. This is an old school bbq spot. You pull up and you just smell the food cooking-you just know it’s going to be good. I saws cried heading to the spot I had to hurry up inside so I don’t be behind them. First day I got chicken dinner, we went back the next day I got brisket meal and half a chicken and a slice of cake.
I want to start with I don't normally leave bad reviews. Very disappointed. We were greeted nicely with "you are about to know good bbq." However, that was not our experience. The ribs were tough and difficult to chew, and only mildly warm. The fries were soggy. Normally I will give a place a second chance, however my family had a variety of things and didn't like any of them. And when leaving no one even asked how it went.
Sims is the best. The portion sizes are just right. The sauce is always on point. People debate about which city has the best barbeque. Clearly, they haven't had Sims. Sims barbeque is in a category of its own.
I live in TX and every time I come home I can't leave without Sims. But today has finally taught me, NO MORE. How can you get your order home (30 minutes away) and you don't have BBQ sauce ? ?. Why the baked beans don't have any BBQ sauce. Why the greens taste like can. It's been a long long run but NO

Sims is the type of place that will take you back into time. Just the historical significance of this beacon in the community of Little Rock is enough to give you a sense of pride. At least it did for this kid from New York City. I'm praying for another 86 years of service for Sims Bar-B-Que. Thank you Sims for your hospitality.
