ā 1-Star Review ā Unprofessional, Disrespectful, and Concerning Billing Practices
I had one of the worst customer service experiences Iāve dealt with in a long time.
I made a purchase at this location, and my card was successfully charged. The funds were immediately taken out of my bank account. However, the staff insisted the transaction ādid not go throughā on their end and attempted to run my card a second time.
I refusedābecause the payment had already been processed. At that point, instead of calmly verifying the transaction, things went downhill fast.
When I called to speak with a manager, the first manager hung up on me mid-conversation. No resolution, no attempt to helpājust disconnected the call.
I then contacted the regional manager, Mr. Lawrence, hoping for a professional resolution. Instead, he opened the conversation with:
āSir, you need to be reasonable when speaking to me.ā
Let that sink in.
I was calling to address a legitimate billing issueāone that forced me to lock my card, contact my bank, and put fraud protections in place because of THEIR errorāand his first response was to talk down to me.
At no point was I being unreasonable. I was speaking clearly and directly about a charge that had already gone through. Instead of acknowledging the situation or showing any accountability, I was met with dismissiveness and disrespect.
Because of this storeās actions:
⢠I had to lock my bank card
⢠I had to contact my bank and flag the transaction
⢠I had to monitor my account for duplicate charges
⢠And I was treated like I was the problem for expecting basic competence
This isnāt just poor serviceāitās reckless handling of customer payments combined with unacceptable behavior from management.
A business can make mistakes. That happens.
But how you handle those mistakes defines you.
Hanging up on customers and speaking to them like theyāre beneath you? Thatās not a mistakeāthatās a culture problem.
I would strongly caution anyone doing business here:
⢠Watch your transactions carefully
⢠Double-check your receipts
⢠And be prepared to advocate for yourself if something goes wrong
I will not be returning.

We stopped for 2 drinks. After 10 minutes we asked what was holding them up. They hadn't put our order in. At 15 minutes we had to leave because we had to be somewhere else. Drinks are supposed to be out in less than 2 minutes. I know because a friend of mine used to have several Sonics in Texas. He would never have let something like this happen.

I drove quite a ways to try this restaurant only to find that it is so filthy dirty on the outside that I wonāt even give it a try. If they canāt clean the outside, how can I trust them to clean the inside?

I have given this location chance after chance, and they never get it right. Tonight, I decided to try again because my child asked for it. I politely asked the person taking my order to please make sure it's fresh this time. I got my food, and the 3 corn dogs were indeed fresh, however once again, the burger is cold. Also, I specifically asked for no tomatoes because I'm allergic to them! My burger had 2 big tomatoes on it, soi had to trash it. I believe the tomatoes were added on purpose, and I will be calling Monday to speak with a manager. This is ridiculous.

Ever since the salted caramel toffee drink came out I get it almost everyday so I know how it tastesā¦. This morning I got the drink it was very weak really tasted like water! Told the employee the issue she said somebody would come out and get my drink and add more syrup(instead of making new drink) no food from outside is suppose to go back in but okā¦. The general manager came out and got my drink then proceeds to say we have to charge you I put two pumps of syrup in the cup lmao! I asked for a refund! MAKE THE DRINKS RIGHT THE FIRST TIME! the young lady that normally makes it was not there(slim brown skinned beautiful black woman with the pretty nails) but general manager DO BETTER!
