We had a great experience here on a Saturday! The burger was one of the best I’ve had! The GM was super friendly! He even provided some history on the building. I peeked at the outdoor area and it looked so inviting!!!! We will be back.

I was going to midtown billiards for lunch but they were closed. Saw the Busker next door and I had the cheeseburger and fries and they were so good. The patty on the burger was really well seasoned. It was a great option for an easy lunch and I’ll definitely be back.

THE ABSOLUTE WORSE restaurant i have ever been to downtown! Service was mediocre. Wings were alright. I ordered food to go and every order was incorrect. Its like they just gave me whatever they had back in the kitchen in to go boxes! I see why this place was empty when i left!!!! And the staff looked at me the whole time as if i was alien....smh! I recommend to whomever owns this place to let someone who ACTUALLY knows about customer service and the food industry to have that particular space!!!! #BuskerisABUST!

It was a little pricey but it was good. I had the shrimp and scallop skewer and a Dr. Pepper, it was $32.

Great place for cold drinks and live music! Would have loved to try the food, but after waiting on our order for a couple of hours we were told "we don't have time to make your food."

The smoked chicken is the best I have ever had. Excellent flavor, crispy outside without drying out the inside. Excellent service from Lakin at the bar.

This is where the old Soutb on Main was. When we visited, it wasn't busy, but we were there for happy hour and dinner. It has a great atmosphere. There are tvs with all the important games on, the bartender was very nice and helpful. The food we had was really good. We started with the fried green beans. They were crunchy and had great flavor. We ordered the grilled shrimp skewer. It was flavorful and light. It is definitely a place to run into and have a drink and check out. They also have bands on weekends. I can't rate this because I haven't seen one there as of yet. Give it a try! SOMA districtEat, drink, and be merry!!

Went to check out The Busker (formerly South on Main) to watch Jason Lee Hale and The Space Invaders perform. We enjoyed the wings, which were a little "different" but very tasty! Attentive service from the bartender. We look forward to our next visit!

I have never been to south on main before its closure but I would always hear good reviews about the place. When I heard that they were reopening as The Busker, I was excited to go in and experience the new concept.

The staff was nice and welcoming and serviced me quickly. I ordered the Fried Green Beans, Mozzarella Bites, Shrimp and Scallop Skewers, and the house cocktail sangria. I originally wanted the Ribeye frites as my main but they were unfortunately out of the ribeye. For a grand total of about $60. The Fried Green Beans were awesome. They were spicy, hot, and crispy. I get the sangria with them and it was alright. Afterwards I get the mozzarella bites. They… were not as hot, not as crispy. Flavor wise they were good. Then I get to the Shrimp and Scallop Skewers and I don’t know what happened but this wasn’t it. While the scallops were alright, the shrimp was overcooked, and the bacon wrapping the shrimp wasn’t cooked enough. Like the bacon fat wasn’t rendered at all. I ended up removing the bacon off the shrimp. Underneath that was a bed of bland and cold rice. I left the rice untouched after some bites.

I left here full but not fully satisfied. I’ll eventually come back for the ribeye frites but I reeeeally hope yall will have upped your game by then.

The Busker is a smart way to move this spot forward - approachable and easy menu, I’ve had a few things and they were all great! Cheesedip is bomb. Enjoy the addition of TVs for sporting events and the fact they are keeping the stage for shows. Had a great time there after M2’s big gallery show. Check it out, great to have this venue on Main back in business!
