It was just ok. The rolls were tasty but the hibachi dinner was awful. The rice was not fresh. It tasted like a microwave dinner from the freezer section of a grocery store. The waitress was pleasant and friendly. The restaurant is quaint and clean with the exception of the dust and dead bugs in the window.

The best sushi spot in West Little Rock. I love coming here for lunch as the bento box provides everything you could want. The ginger dressing on the salad tastes fresh and is perfectly balanced.

Sushi Cafe West:Made my family sick. Had a mix of rice (not fried), sushi, dumplings. Nausea started before we left the restaurant. Full on sick before we got home. This place has always been great…not so much today, and not my previous experiences. Also tried calling several times to let them know, but no one answered.

So the sushi was fire! Really good! However, we ordered 2 entrees and ate 3 bites. Basically, the sushi chef knows his stuff. The chef in the kitchen needs to be replaced!The fried rice wasn't fried. Meat was basically non-existent. Tasted like wheat rice. I got a noodle dish, I love Asian noodles. This wasn't it. It seemed to be covered in some tangy hot sauce, not Asian-made. Tasted more like they dumped Frank's red hot all over the dish after it was prepared.The bottom line, is you want Sushi, this place is great. Anything else, run for the hills.The server boxed up the 2 meals that were BARELY touched and offered no compensation. She didn't seem to care that we didn't eat any. Even after I told her they were terrible. Didn't offer to give us something else. Nothing. I basically waited $30 on two dinners I wouldn't feed my dog.

A most enjoyable dining experience! The flavor and quality of the food was excellent! The service was very good! This is one of our favorite restaurants in Little Rock! I highly recommend Sushi Cafe West!

We stopped in to Sushi Cafe West today to get a long awaited sushi fix, as we now live in rural Arkansas, and we were pleasantly surprised at this wonderful this little place. Great food, great service and very reasonably priced too.We both had bento boxes for lunch and everything was so tasty, especially the shrimp tempura….and I even had enough to take home in a to-go box.We will be back next time we are in LR.

Sushi was pretty good, clearly not the best though. Not a bad place if you’re in the area for sushi, however I definitely wouldn’t go out of my way to visit this place.
Excellent place for fresh sashimi! I would recommend the salmon! If you are going with a sushi roll I would go with the Heights … excellent eel roll!
