Food and service was excellent. The owner was extremely nice and it was a pleasure to dine in his restaurant for the evening.
This place has been in my rotation for years. Tonight was the first time I left feeling the experience was unfulfilling.
Very nice - special occasion - dining experience. Excellent service and chef. Very quiet, adult only, setting.
My wife, my brother, and I had reservations New Year's Eve for a Pre-Fixe dinner. Our server must have been new because he could not explain much about the menu, he could not suggest a good red wine based on our preferences, and seemed disorganized or aloof most of the evening. The pre-fixe menu was $150 each with a $50 option for a bottle of wine which we chose to do. The wine was suggested by the manager/sommelier and he was super friendly and helpful. But sadly everything else was just mediocre, the food was good but not great especially for the portion sizes. And when we got the bill we were surprised to see a *large group rate* charge of 20%. When questioned the manager said that it was part of the NYE event and that everyone was charged it as a up front tip. Which is fine because I was actually going to tip more but it felt deceiving to add a charge like that for a table of less than 5 people. We have been here before a few times and never had issues like this. We are chalking it up to a poorly planned and/or short staffed event but either way it will definitely make us hesitate before we come back.
Excellent octopus appetizer- best anywhere. Rabbit and Leek/bone marrow pastry encesed stew and Iberico pork rib chop very good. Little disappointed the wine list no longer has selections of multiple Burgundy, Rhone, and Chateau neuf de Pape wines so had to settle for some which were not quite to those levels for paring.
The elevated palette of the chef is beyond anything I can articulate. Absolutely sensational. 🤤
This place keeps getting better and better. The family dined here last night. We had excellent service and the food and drinks were fantastic. Big recommendation for the smoked meatloaf, crispy Brussels and the sticky toffee(chefs kiss).
Outstanding! Cocktails we perfectly crafted. I had a grilled ceasar salad and my husband had the seasonal salad both we delicious as were the redfish and shrimp and grits. We ended with the vanilla ice cream with caviar and kit kat for dessert. Best meal and service I have had in Little Rock. Scott Rains is a master!
As always, Table 28 was fantastic. The best dining in Central Arkansas, in our experience.
Table 28 offers amazing food and excellent service. Perfect for a quiet night with another couple or someone special.

Just visited Table 28 on a Saturday night to celebrate a birthday/anniversary with a couple of friends. Such a great experience, it started with the host/seating crew (they made some adjustments for us, without hesitation). Our waiter was very knowledgeable and made some great recommendations (Go ahead and get the barrel aged old fashioned if you like your old fashioned less sweet with a bite). The menu changes, but always some interesting choices available. For us, starting with the cocktails through the appetizers, salads, entrees and shared dessert... all top notch...(the wagyu beef stroganoff was a special for the night-- and it was fantastic) and ending with a photo in front of the Christmas tree it was such a great night. Thanks Table 28.... we'll see you again soon!
The food is always excellent at Table 28. We like the seasonal menus. Also, the service is impeccable.
The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Aged Meatloaf, and it was a real treat. To make it even more special, they gave my wife a very cute birthday card. The staff was amazing, but I had a minor issue with the noise level. It was so loud that I couldn't even hear my wife while we were talking.
Second time coming to Table 28 — food was delicious and the service was spectacular. Highly recommend!
My friend and I celebrated our birthdays there. Great food, good service, was noisier than I remembered. They provided birthday cards and complimentary glasses of Prosecco. YES to the rabbit pot pie and the redfish. No to the harvest salad - big hard-to-eat chunks and didn't love the dressing. Maybe to the eel, which was delicious but had a very soft texture and the Kit Kat dessert, which was pretty good. I think the price for such a lavish meal was reasonable. Felt a little pressure to get my order in and found the noise level to be something I had to really speak up over. Would return.
