I have been going to Tamalcalli for awhile now. Always had a good overall experience. I placed a to go order for the first time last night. I picked up my food as quickly as possible I raced home in fear that my nachos would get soggy with time. Opened my bag and realized they don't pour the cheese on the to go nachos. I had a fresh piping hot cup of queso to pour over my nachos. Y'all the real MVP for that one! :-)

This place is really great. The quesabirria meat could have had a little more flavor, but their verde sauce plus the consommé made up for it! I actually enjoyed their rice and beans. Usually I never even touch those ?It is smaller, so not great for larger groups, but great for 4 or less! Perfect for a solo lunch!

I absolutely love this place. My favorite place to eat on main street. It's fast and chill but top tier food. It's halfway between a taco truck and a diner dive. Has city energy and great hours for nightlife owls as well.Parking: Main street herself is tricky, but I never have a problem finding parking one street off of main.
