I will say that the spicy gizzards are the best I've had in a long time. I got fufu to soak up some of the spicy sauce which was great the only complaint I have is I wish there was more sauce( only because I'm greedy). The ladies there aren't overly friendly but they are sweet and they stand on business ten toes deep and put their whole foot in this food, they aren't here to be your friend they're here to run a business and serve delicious food and by God that's what they did.

10/21 second time back I got the peppered goat soup and of course two orders of spicy gizzards. Of course it was delicious just like it was the first time. The ladies were so nice.. this is Def my go to spot.

100% honest and fair review: I did takeout through door dash, estimated time was correct. Staff was not overly friendly but courteous. It seemed ac was not working but plenty of fans were working I did not find it terribly hot inside.

The food speaks for itself. I got the Jollof rice and chicken plus ogbonu soup with fufu. The chicken was phenomenal, rice was good, as was the fufu. The soup was slimy (like okra) which is not to my personal liking. My fault for not knowing what ogbonu was. It was better with rice than fufu.

I think next time I would also like to try the jerk chicken, and maybe the fried rice instead. For the soup I will probably try the egwusi or goat pepper instead.

I asked for turkey and jollof rice, but they gave me oxtail, I ordered the beef stew with white rice and a sautéed onion and bell pepper with gizzards all of the meat. The oxtails they gave me that I did not want was tough. The gizzards were tough. The beef was tough. I was better off just eating the The sauces, the rice, the onions, and bell peppers. The season of things were good. All of the meat were bad.

The size of fufu you’re giving African customers is very small on that price it’s not good thing. This is the second time I am experiencing your customer service and it’s very bad. How do you send me this kind of food on the money you have charged. There’s no value for money and it is not the best. You are giving me food. I see if I’m going to give it to one year old child . Why do you sell food like this? And you expect your customer to be happy? No one cares about what you charge, but we care about what we eat and the quantity we eat. If you feel like the money is too small for that food and then you need to change the price and save the customers as well this is bad it’s very bad

Please find a more appropriate way of verifying online customer orders because it's not fair to harass your innocent paying customers because someone claiming to be doordash comes in and steals orders. Do not do online orders for your business if that's how we will be treated. I feel like if I did not have my phone to prove my order to the owner then I would not have gotten my order nor my money back especially after traveling from Bryant on my hour lunch break to support the business. I put in my order at 11:30 and the tracking showed it would not be ready until over 2 hours later and when i got there there was only 1 customer in the restaurant. I showed the owner proof of my order along with identification and that still wasn't good enough because I had to show her several confirmations via text and email but she wanted to see the actual picture of what I ordered. I understand her reasoning for being leary and hesitant but you will lose a lot more business doing that to your online customers. I was very offended and that's not the first time the owner has done that to me. Verifying my name and order would have been enough because everyone doesn't have phones and other devices to show you a picture!!! Don't get me wrong, I always thoroughly enjoy what I order and I do feel badly about your orders being stolen by people that deceive you but there has got to be a better way to verify your online orders without offending, upsetting and causing inconvenience to your honest customers.

No air conditioning inside and it was stifling hot. The service was awful and all the employees were very rude. They were out of what I wanted on the menu, and pressured me to take the order to-go, which I was going to do anyway but was still annoying. They didn’t even give me what I asked for, but I was not about to wait around another 40 minutes for mediocre food. I ended up with the fried yams and spinach. The spinach smelled rancid and tasted off. The yams were bland and dry. I’m not sure if that’s how they’re supposed to be, as I’ve never had fried yams before, but I did not enjoy them.
My friend ordered the jollof rice and jerk chicken. He liked the chicken but the meal only contained 4 measly wings, so he was still hungry after. There was a tiny scoop of coleslaw which was okay in flavor but hot for some reason, which threw us off. The jollof rice was okay, but kind of dried out and not much tomato flavor.
Overall, I would not recommend anyone go here.

I had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant. When I arrived, the staff informed me that I couldn't sit and eat because they were about to close and needed to pack my food to go. The server mentioned she was in a rush to leave. However, shortly after, a gentleman walked in, and they not only prepared his food but also served him to dine in, while I was still waiting for my order to be prepared.

When I saw this and complained, the server suddenly changed her tune and said I could eat there after all. This inconsistency and poor treatment are unacceptable. I felt disrespected and unfairly treated. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone due to their lack of professionalism and courtesy.

Food warmed up in a microwave is not Ok when you have a complete rang most important are the attitudes which are very uninviting! There are as many bad reviews as there are good ones and that says a lot, I found for my self, I won’t be back!

My first time eating African food and it was sooooooooooo goood!! I had the Jerk Chicken with the joli rice with a side of turkey!! Very flavorful!!!

Great flavored food. The one server tried to keep up but fell behind with the dinner rush. It took about 20 minutes from the first plated dish to arrive until the last for our table of six.

Every time I step foot in this place to pick up a door dash order they are VERY RUDE out the gate! They always have attitudes, I would never trust to eat anything from them!
