In town on business; staying out in WLR. I had planned to drop in during the week as they were open early at 6:30a. I finally made it there on my way to the airport on Saturday and walked in the open front door at 6:50. I headed to the crowd in the back by the “take out” sign and asked for the easiest breakfast biscuit they could make. Ans. “We are not open”…. no offer to help further…just “Sorry”.
One might wonder how good the service is when there are 100 people waiting. Disappointed… and worried for such a new business that has invested so much in their attractive locations.

The Buttered biscuit- Where time of your life you'll never get back is a hidden fee!
We waited for 35 -40 minutes only to be told we were removed from waitlist to sit outside- in a 50 degree wet morning - we mentioned it was me and my husband’s birthday weekend - no offer of consolation was made - just a sorry and bye “better luck next time”
They must be used to disappointing people:(

Tried to go there for my birthday. Waited about 20 min for a table only to find out when they called us up that they took us off the list because they thought we were going to sit outside. Never said we wanted to sit outside. We have two young kids so we couldn’t keep waiting around.

If you are in hurry, i do not recommend dining in or getting to-go orders here. It took me 30min to get one order of biscuit basket on Thursday morning and only half of the restaurant was full. Their food is awesome. Their customer service is not.
While I was waiting for food, which I saw it prepared and was sitting on the prep area as soon as the order was received, I see their staffs chitchatting, not really doing anything, looking around, cutting lemons, cleaning, etc. A staff finally asked if I was helped and I told her I was waiting for my to-go order. She directed another staff about the order and another staff grabbed the box that has been sitting on the prep area for a long time. I told her that has been sitting there for a while. And she responded “idk I just got here.”
I feel like they need to work on their workflow or redirect staff assignments/education. There were definitely enough staffs, but apparently not enough to check on one to go order while I saw all other kitchen orders that were placed after me is going out to customers. While i was waiting for my food, I saw all other customers looking for their server that did not come take their orders for a while. It definitely did not feel like it was organized. Staffs are confused and redirecting customers inquiry to other staff which had to be directed to another staff.

First let say the review is based on my personal likings and are a general review of the experience I encountered.
Taylor, was very polite and very attention tive. The food was very good. Eggs cooked to my liking, the potatoes with onions, red peppers, bacon, ham, and seasoning was very very good. The gravy had a different taste that I'm used to but was very flavorful and very good. The biscuit,....it was cold. I get it, it's probably left out after cooking and it gets room temp cold. It was immediately replaced with a nice hot one by Taylor after I inquired about it. It was steaming hot when she brought out the replacement. Although, I personally was not satisfied with the taste. Not to say it was bad, just that it wasn't to my liking. But it was very fluffy, moist, and toasty on top. In my opinion it needed some salt and buttermilk. That is the reasoning for the 4 stars instead of 5. You can't satisfy everyone all the time but this place did its best to satisfy my tastes of their food. Oh yeah, that coffee was strong. It was good coffee but to strong for my liking.
Will I return? Absolutely. And I will try something else from their menu.
As forthe restaurant. It was clean, very well light, cozy, and the atmosphere was inviting.
I had an awesome conversation with Taylor. Thanks Taylor for taking the time to chat with me.
Come give this place a try.

I look forward to coming here with friends or with my husband. The service is great by being attentive, organized, and pleasant. The food is delicious because it’s classic breakfast food with Onyx signature coffee. I’ve tried several items on the menu and you can’t go wrong. The outside seating area is lovely with a people watching kind of view. It’s often really busy with a wait and it can get difficult to hear when it’s super busy inside. Still 100% worth it. This is the place to go for quality food and coffee.

It was overall not great. Coffee was vile very bitter not sure why they can't make coffee. Order was wrong originally and waited a long time for my correct order. Potato's dry shiveled. Eggs and sausage cooked ok. Burrito a bit plain but ok. Service lacking. Overall I was relieved to leave and won't be back. It's not any better than cracker barrel or any other breakfast food I have had. Cracker barrel cheesecake pancakes were better.

We came in a Sunday morning, probably the busiest time of the week. We sat at the bar because the place was packed, and had a great look at the kitchen and how the food was being prepped. There were like 20 or maybe 25 people working there, pretty organized and efficient. Food was flying out the kitchen, very well presented. I ordered the Kicking Chicken with waffles, which was really good. It was a really good experience and I will definitely come back again. Great place

The food is amazing but that's if u can get in. The staff is clearly working with what they can but weekends are slammed. Got seated once while our waitress was on break another time we waited 30 mins and sat another 10 again waiting to get drinks and order. It's about an hour and a half excursion. Really tasty though
Was starving by the time the food got here and forgot to take pictures.
Weekdays are perfect tho- no rush, excellent service, amazing food.

Do NOT come here on the weekends unless you like potentially waiting 30-45 minutes in line, and then waiting another 20 minutes for someone to come ask what drinks you'd like to start with.
The food is honestly really good, but an hour or more of total waiting for breakfast food is kinda nuts.
