The Buttered Biscuit - West Little Rock

On 10-26-25 - My wife and I were so excited to finally be able to try this place out because we heard so many great things. Unfortunately we must’ve come on a bad day. Everything started out just fine, until we sat there for almost 15 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. Even though we had multiple staff members walk past and even clean the entire section we were sitting in. The best part of the whole situation was once we decided to get up and walk out of the restaurant we noticed more than 3 servers come over to the section and watch us through the window walk away.

Management and staff please do better.

Service on 10/16/2025 at 10:00 AM was awful. The waitress had to be flagged down just to place our order and to get our drinks refilled. The food was ok even though the eggs were over cooked and the yoke was solid.

My husband and I had the pleasure of visiting TBB. The food was so delicious. I had their seasonal shrimp and grits with bacon jam. And my husband had their Cajun Shrimp Scamble. My dish was good. But his dish was the star of the show. We could tell our dishes was cooked with love. Our server, Clarissa is truly a gem, and took very good care of us. I just found out they have a location that's closer to home for us. But this location has easily become our new spot. We enjoyed ourselves.

The Buttered Biscuit! First off love the name. My encounter with this restaurant happened in a round about way but more on that in a moment. As a traveler one of the very first things on my checklist when visiting a new city, town or state is where are the culinary delights! I've been in Little rock since Oct 2024, but Buttered Biscuit didn't come to my attention until a couple of months ago. Where I am currently residing is in the District of Midtown and one Saturday morning (at a time I'm nowhere close to being awake let alone up and about), I'm at the front desk expressing my morning Hello's and How do you do's, when Mr. Brent from Buttered Biscuit comes to the front desk to checkout. The Assistant GM, Brent and I combined our conversations together after an initial introduction and of course the topic was FOOD!
Brent's energy awesome. His food visions and texture palate right up my alley. So after about 10 minutes or so, Brent offered me and the Assistant GM a morning tasting.
he took the time to go to the restaurant and brought it back to us. WOW!!
Now I've heard about these pancakes being absolutely delicious and that is what I requested, that's what I got and HOLY HOLY!
Pancakes are Pancakes right? UH NO!! These pancakes slap my palate WOKE!! Vanilla sweet batter pancakes are the notes I picked up, coupled with what I believe was the raspberry melba, can you say slam dunk!! In addition to, I did add some maple syrup and it was just the right amount of sweetness. Texture wise these pancakes are wonderful balance of fluff and density aka FULFILLING! Bacon was my side and a great cut of bacon, not thin and not too thick.
Mr. Brent I look forward to what we talked about. Starts with the letter G :P
This won't be my last review as I have seen other items on the breakfast and lunch menu that look scrumptious!!

Nice place to have brunch, the starters were really good I loved the benigns, cinnamon roll, and the pigs in a biscuit. However the breakfast burrito was not my favorite it was ok but I wouldn’t get it again.
