We live near Pantry Crest, and often have meals on celebratory occasions there. Yesterday the occasion was a birthday. We had Wiener schnitzel, roast pork with knedliky (sliced dumplings), and salmon — along with some red cabbage and sauerkraut, and in the case of the healthy salmon dish, healthy spinach and asparagus. All was delicious. When we go to Pantry Crest, I remember with gratitude an evening several years ago when some friends arrived from Hamburg and we took them to Pantry Crest, which was so crowded that there were no tables. And the hostess kindly set up a makeshift table for us to sit at while we waited, and then brought us sampler glasses of a large selection of beer on tap. Tomas Bohm, the owner of Pantry Crest, then came out of the kitchen and welcomed and talked to us. Such warm welcome and hospitality make a real difference when you choose restaurants to frequent.

So the highest compliment I can give a dish is that it's memorable. Tonight I had a bowl of the tomato lamb stew... it wasn't exactly what I expected but WOW! So very delicious! So delicious in fact that's I'd definitely say it's memorable!

We drove up to Little Rock to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and she wanted to try this place. We were promptly greeted and seated and soon our orders were in.The food arrived after a short time. I had the weinerschnitzel while my daughter had jeagerschnitzel, the wife had lasagne and my daughter’s boyfriend had fish and chips.Everyone was happy with their meals and we sat and chatted while dining.

Very cozy, intimate spot for dinner! Because The Pantry has made its home in an old house in the Hillcrest neighborhood, when you're there you feel like you're at your elegant friend's house for supper club ; this friend has a penchant for preparing food that does more than just fill your stomach; it informs your palette. Between the high quality food and the passionate staff, The Pantry does just that! I highly recommend their salads, their salmon, and their homemade ricotta (which I may have recently had too much of). I plan to keep returning.

I just recently visited this restaurant and absolutely loved it. The food and service was excellent. Cannot wait to go back.

Creamy Truffle Deviled EggsBeer Battled Cod Fish I love this location. The food is great, esp those truffle deviled eggs. The drinks are great, too. The staff are friendly and wonderful! The patio is great; however, you can always enjoy indoors. I love to go in during football season and watch the games at the bar. Fantastic bartender!

Overall the experience was awesome. We came here with a big group, which was amazing. The Pantry tried to accommodate us, but seemed not super big group friendly. The food was absolutely incredible, we loved every bite. Only negative was even thiugh our waitress was super friendly, generally the service was pretty slow and the other staff seemed kind of overwhelmed by our group being there. I've been here in a small group before and it was fine. So just note this isn't the place to go if you have a big group, but I HIGHLY recommend going here otherwise. It's tastey and comfy!Parking: There are 4 spaces at the resturaunt, but otherwise one way street parking or hike the hill from kroger.

My husband and I really enjoyed our evening dinner with Bonnie as our very accommodating and well trained server (a rarity these days). We had the brussels sprouts appetizer; my husband had Wienerschnitzel, and I had the lasagna. While the lasagna was not like the Italian “traditional” kind, it was very good and tasty. We’ll be back again.

Honestly, I was a West girl. Very glad to see Bonnie tonight at Crest. She is a whole vibe and we were grateful for her hospitality. What a great, genuine, human experience. We left feeling lucky we have such a gem.

One of my favorite Euro-eats spots in LR. Great selection of eastern Euro cuisine (slight hints of American flare). amazing service staff and ambience.

Fantastic European eatery. The pork roast was fall-apart tender, and the Hungarian sausage was very well done with a fine grind and wonderful veggies. The potato dumplings were a bit more dense than I'm used to, but that may be the difference in German vs Czech dumplings. The drinks and desserts were also wonderful, particularly the Czech herbal liqueur (lighter than Underberg and with honey notes), the Cherry Darling, and the hazelnut affogato.

Exceptional food and atmosphere. It's easy to forget that you're in Arkansas while eating here. My only minor gripe is that it's not the most friendly place for those with nut allergies.Kid-friendliness: Don't even bother asking your kids what they want and order them the Cheese Spaetzle. It's incredible and something that even the pickiest eater won't turn down.

Get the deviled eggs. Omg they are so good. I also recommend the bacon wrapped dates and for the main course...lasagna! Nothing bad on the menu.

Last time I was in Arkansas my family took me here. I asked to go back this time to celebrate my birthday. The appetizers were delicious. I ordered a gin and tonic on happy hour. It was flat. The bratwurst was delicious. The upcharge for fries was high and they came out cold which was a disappointment. The highlight of the meal for me were bacon wrapped dates and the cheesecake with creme brulee topping.Like a good show if you start strong and end strong if you miss a few notes in the middle the audience will leave happy. I left happy.
