Leaving a five star review because I eat here often. Food is good service is better than it used to be. Check your to go orders before you leave. They are wrong more often than not. I am reminded of that as I sit here and eat my Baja Shrimp salad with no shrimp. Paid $25 for a salad and they left off the most expensive part. Not worth leaving home and driving all the way back up there and fighting with parking to get my shrimp. Good food, just check your order before you leave.
I have frequented Zaza for lunch just about every week for the past few years. It has always been a quick lunch with a tasty salad. Since they changed their ordering system, it takes far too long to get a salad. Sitting for 30 minutes on a not-busy day is unacceptable. Go back to the old system and it’s 5 stars again!
I do not know what happened to this place, but it is different, and I'm not too fond of it. I usually run in and grab a salad, which takes no more than 5 minutes. They have reconfigured how they are doing their service, and in my humble opinion, it does not work. It should never take 30 minutes to grab a salad from an establishment like this. The staff were not friendly. It was a “cold” atmosphere, and I am not sure I will be back.
