Arrived about 8 pm on a Friday night. A few other customers were there. The staff started cleaning up and chit chatting with each other like it was closing time. They swept and mopped right around us so that we couldn’t enjoy our meal. The carne asada meat was overcooked, tough, and stringy. Had to ask 3 times to get tortillas. Need to honor the open hours and stay open until then. We left well before 9pm and it still felt like they were rushing us out.

If only zero stars were an option. Manager working Friday 8/9 refused to provide her name, lied numerous times before suddenly being able to do what was asked of her in less than 2 or 3 min, refused to put into writing acknowledgment of food returned to restaurant- food she identified as being severely over cooked, refused to call owner when she would not assist customer, laughed at customer bc apparently it's funny to her that they serve food so burnt it can't be chewed. Worst experience ever! I'm not sure I've ever had bad Mexican food much less steak so overcooked it can't been cut much less chewed, cheese dip so burnt there are black pieces of char throughout, chips bagged so long ago the bags have holes in them they are so saturated with grease, and cheese fries with lots of extra unidentifiable ingredients. Refused to reimburse customer who initially requested only the steak be refunded but decided to return all of the food bc the manager was so horrific. If the manager won't share their name, you certainly can't trust the food.
As icing on the cake, the manager told the food service app representative her name was Karen ? She's a Karen alright.

This Antigua's is very similar to the one in El Dorado. Good food and a nice clean facility.
Wheelchair accessibility: It's very helpful to have double doors for those confined to a wheelchair
Look, the food is ok. But how are you gonna let your staff talk trash about the customers in Spanish bc they think we can’t speak Spanish 😂😂😂 just went in there for a pick up order and they called my husband a cow bc they thought we couldn’t understand them. Disgusting people, but good food!

My meal was delicious! I had tapatio but subbed squash and zuchinni for the pepper and onions. The brown butter cake is so good!We had a hard time getting refills on our chips, but we came at an odd time. As we were finishing our meal, I noticed a young man walking around filling chip bowls.
