Place has really fallen off. An issue almost every time.
Our experience honestly was bad. We ordered an appetizer of pickle fries and they were so salty we barely could stand them. When we pointed that out to the waitress she said she could see what we were talking about. Didn’t try to fix the issue. When we ordered the entrees my boyfriend ordered the 16 oz ribeye but was informed they only had the 12 oz so he said that was ok and he wanted a loaded potato and fries. The waitress asked if he wanted extra fries since he was splitting some of his steak with our son and he said yes. When the food finally came out after waiting nearly and hour (the steak had to unthaw) he did not receive his potato and when we asked the waitress she said oh yeah sorry I thought it was just 2 orders of fries. Still did not bring out the potato or try to help fix that either. To make the matter worse we were the ONLY people in the restaurant. He was very upset with the experience since he paid nearly 30$ for a steak by itself since the fries were unsalted and bland (how is the fries not salted but the pickle fries are saltier?). In my opinion in understand why there wasn’t much traffic there since the service is terrible and some of the food is subpar. However the bbq chicken sandwich was actually good and decent price. Just the rest of the experience not so good. We will not be recommending the place or going back. Each time we try it out it’s disappointing.

1 hrs. 25 minutes till food arrives at the table. SUNDAY LUNCH. FOOD WAS GREAT. Once we got it. Drinks slow ,Napkins / 1 each .for 2 hours.

We arrived early, before the lunch period. We were the only customers. The waitress was very friendly and offered helpful suggestions. Our food was good if not exceptional. We'd go again.

Not bad food, but you don't get the amount you pay for. I ordered a chicken fried steak and the portion was very small. May be better next time I go there.
The food was cold had a lot of flies and the wait time was ridiculous with 2 people in the building never go back
It was a little chilly but everything was great
The potatoes are so good and the workers are really kind.

We have been to the Blue Bull several times in the past couple of years when visiting our daughter that is a student at SAU. It was wonderful the first visit but has steadily gone down hill each time but today was awful. We will not be back. We placed our orders and after 30 minutes the waitress came back and told us that they were having some issues with their fryer after being very busy the day before. She explained that the food would taste fine but look a little darker than usual due to this. We told her as long as the food is good we would be fine. Another 30 minutes later we were served chips that looked and tasted like cardboard. We told her she could clear the chips from the table because they were disgusting. We were then served chicken fried chicken, chicken fried steak and fries cooked in extremely old dirty oil that should have been changed out long ago. The sirloin ordered medium well was rare with blood coming out of it. The table behind us was not told about the oil issue until they had been waiting 45 minutes. They asked their waitress what could be made and served to them quickly and the waitress stated “nothing really.” That table chose to leave without food at that point along with a table across the room from us. We should have done the same. We were under the impression based on what the waitress told us that we would not be paying for the chips and queso due to them being inedible but were prepared to go ahead and pay for everything else and leave after being there over an hour. Once we went to pay we were told that the manager was only willing to give us the SAU student discount to make up for the chips. I explained that we were already getting the SAU discount because my daughter is a student. She just said well that’s all the manager will do. We spent over $70 on food just to have to take our kids elsewhere to eat and get full. It was as a very disappointing experience.
They have really started being cheap about their servings!!! Got fries as a side and didn't even get a handful!! It is ridiculous to pay as much as we do for take out! Very disappointing

I had blackened chicken and my husband had blackened pork chops. they were both delicious. We each had a sweet potato with cinnamon. The service was good also.
I am writing to provide feedback on my mother’s recent dining experience at your establishment on 6/3/24. Unfortunately, her experience was far below expectations due to issues with both the food and customer service. The food, particularly the American burger was not satisfactory as it was greasy, overly salty, and , lacking flavor, etc. Additionally, the level of customer service was disappointing. I believe there is room for improvement in these areas and hope you will address these concerns to enhance the overall dining experience for future patrons.
