“Growing up in Malvern, I have high standards for what real Southern catfish should taste like. Now that I live in Colorado, I’ve realized that finding good catfish near Denver is nearly impossible—nothing quite hits the mark. Coming home for Christmas this year, Fish Man's LLC was exactly what I needed. After a grueling 15-hour drive, having a meal this good was the ultimate reward. The fish was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and fried to that ideal golden crisp without being greasy. It’s easily some of the best I’ve had in years. It’s rare to find a place that justifies a 1,000-mile trip, but this is it. If you’re in the area (or even if you’re just passing through Arkansas), do yourself a favor and stop here. I’d make the drive all over again just for another plate!“
