This is a wonderful place and we never miss Fred’s when we are in town. The fried fist is delicious but I tried the grilled this time and loved even more. The whole experience is very family friendly, fairly priced and never disappoints.

I had heard very good things about this place. from a good friend. he was exactly right. it was worth the drive from Hand Cove Arkansas. the fried walleyes out of this world. and the hush puppies are the ticket. slaw fries will good as well is the fried shrimp. I will definitely take the trip back to get a seafood platter and maybe get lucky and get the crab legs if my timing is right.

Ordered the Walleye meal and it was burnt to a crisp. Very disappointed and the hushpuppies were very greasy!
Absolutely amazing good! If you love great fish platters, definitely go to this place! Very friendly staff, more food than I could eat at once so I took home a doggie bag. Great coleslaw. I am very picky about my coleslaw, I either love it or hate it depending on how the place makes it, this place had amazing slaw!!

We were able to phone our order in ahead of time... close to closing time, and they were able and willing to make dining in happen .... we weren't the last to order or the last to leave, but grateful for delicious grilled catfish after a long day on the river

What I ordered was great, I got the grilled fish pratter. My wife got the shrimp plate. I'm not a fan of their shrimp. Kinda rubbery... My fish, though, was super flaky and tons of flavor. I liked the coleslaw, I did add a bit of salt and pepper. Hushpuppies were too dry for my taste. Not bad ambiance, seemed pretty aged. The bathroom floor was a hot mess.
No wet wipes for customer hands.
Good visit. I just think this location needs to zone in on a few things to get 5 stars.
