The first time I was here, I had carne in salsa roja and it was good like a 4star, but this time on 8-10-24 I was disappointed at their soups; 1st I asked for menudo, but had to returned it because it tasted undercooked and the meat was tough to chew. Then I asked for the chicken soup and the flavor and scent was similar to that of a wet chicken with feathers, so I traveled an other hour north to eat. I would give no stars for the soups.

The salsa has no flavor, they brought the wrong order ( how do you mess up on 'combination number 2?), definitely not authentic Mexican food. Margaritas we're ok. Server was friendly but got order wrong.

So, I must say excellent service, great food and I had the Watermelon Margarita and it was very very tasty. I had the loaded baked potato and it was delicious. I usually eat all of my food but I had to get a carry out container. Not to mention we are visiting from Texas. So it was nice to find some authentic Mexican food. We will definitely be back for the Watermelon Margaritas!!!

When we arrived, there was a congregation of employees by the hostess stand. She walked us through these employees, and they did not move, causing us to have to turn sideways and brush up against them to even get through the small space they had left. They made no effort to move. As we sit down, my husband asked the hostess to speak with the manager. The manager never came to our table.
Other than that, the food, and our server were fine. Just an odd experience.

The young man that was our waiter was very nice n helpful. The only thing I wish he would've done was check on Togo order. I asked for no rice on order due to my diet I'm on n I got home n there was so much rice. That's my fault as well, tho. I should've checked it b4 I left.

I have no idea how this restaurant has a 4.1 rating. I ordered tacos al Capone and they were nasty. My chips and salsa came out after I was almost done eating. The place is beautifully decorated. Taco Bell would have been a better choice on the food.

I've been to other restaurants in this franchise and never had this experience so maybe they had an off night. All I can say is the beef the tacos and burritos was so bland it was awful.

We've never been to one these before. And will not be back. We're in the first table when u walk in by the cashier. It took the waitress 15 minutes to get our drink order. The guy paying ordered a beer. Remember that part. 10 minutes later the waitress came back to get food order. Our party 3 adults and a 7 year old child. Pop cups bigger than beer bottle. 3 of us out of drink before we finished dinner my wife shared her drink with grandson. Not once did she come back to see us after she dropped off the food. Didn't bother to pad the bill by offering me more beer. She showed back up long enough to bring the bill.
The food tasted fresh out of the can at best. They spent more money on decor than fresh food. If your looking for bad service and horrible food this place will be your top 5

Being from South Texas I know what authentic Mexican food is supposed to taste like. It wasn't bad but it doesn't compare to Texas.

Everything was fine until the waitress asked me to pay while we were still eating. And she waited. After we paid, she came back twice to see if we were finished. First time that has happened. We were all shocked.I was asked to let it go. So I did, and we left.
