It's not a fancy restaurant with a gourmet menu. It is a good small town, home cooking kind of restaurant at a price that won't break your wallet. It is the kind of place that all the locals go to. The service was excellent!

I got the chicken fried steak breakfast with biscuits and gravy. The eggs weren't exactly cooked the way I wanted them and they tasted like old grease like the grill hadn't been cleaned properly. The biscuits were like what I call whopping biscuits. The chicken fried steak and the hash browns were good though. The price was reasonable.

Nice home style breakfast. I asked for CRISPY bacon and it actually came that way! (I detest flaccid bacon!) Very pleasant staff. There is a sweet older lady (the Mom?) that sells the jelly she makes. BUY THE JELLY! I got Plum and it is WONDERFUL! The jalepeño pepper jelly is also quite good. Next time we go through Marshall I'm getting more. (She had strawberry, blackberry, and a couple of others, too.)

This was the *oddest* place. The owners were very unfriendly. The room was around $45 plus tax. There was orange carpet, paneled walls and old school tube tv’s. It was the only place we could find for the night on our way to Buffalo National River. I will say that the beds were clean and the area was very quiet. There was no fridge, microwave or amenities of any kind. I am pretty sure the restaurant part was not even in operation. It reminded me of the rose motel from Schițz Creek.

After camping, heading home, we stopped here. Food was really good and very reasonably priced, and the waitress lady was the nicest person I've probably ever met in my life. I can't brag on this place enough. I will eat here every time I come to the Ozarks.

First time here. We came from Springfield, Mo to hike. Decided to stop here for breakfast. Joe was a wonderful lady, with great service and a smile. Our breakfast was really good. I like my eggs, over easy, and they were cooked to perfection. Didn't pass this place up. The only thing we didn't like was, we had to miss the fish fry for lunch

Small town. Clean. Cozy seating. I was really happy to find this place. Home cooked meal. Still cheaper than McDonald's! I'll come here again next time. Try the good old fashioned biscuits and gravy for

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free I had eggs over easy, light bacon and hash browns they were very accommodating to my restrictions and let me have a small portion of hashbrown in place of toast and the owner is the cook and everything is fresh
Jo was such a kind and welcoming server. The food was well prepared and the service was great!
