I moved to Little Rock from NJ, and if you’re an east coast transplant like me, you know that Little Rock has absolute trash pizza, bread and bagels. I stumbled upon morningside bagels on uber eats and gave it a try. OMG - this is the closest I’ve gotten to a real bagel since NJ. The owner is actually from NJ and knows how it’s done. Perfect size, rise and flavors. Craving a salt bagel but don’t see it on the menu? No worries - they even accept custom orders if you call the night before. Hands down a 10/10 for me.

First and foremost the bagels are delicious. We have been several times and have always had a great experience. This last time the coffees were all lacking in flavor. Mine had curdled milk. They used to be served in real mugs which was a nice touch. Maybe a little extra time and training on the coffee.

Well it was a tasty bagel. I was really wanting a heavy sticky gluten rich New York bagel however. That it was not. I don't eat bagels very often because I was permanently spoiled by eating the real thing.

Used to be my favorite place in maumelle to get breakfast, but recently they've changed their bagels going from amazing to be average. And the vibe in the store is so down since they made everything digital.
If they ever go back to the old recipes I'll be back, until then, they killed my favorite breakfast spot.

My wife and I had the great pleasure of visiting MorningSide Bagels on a Sunday morning. We were greeted right away by the front counter staff. After perusing the menu, we decided upon the American bagel sandwich. We shared it and got a side sesame seed bagel along with coffee. Everything came out pretty quickly. We savored every bite. The staff were very friendly and professional. When time came for us to leave, my wife decided to buy a bag of the day olds. We couldn't decide which as there were only two bags left and so were given both for the cost of one. We left giddy. Whenever we return to Little Rock for any reason, a trip to MorningSide Bagels will definitely be a part of our plans.

Not at all like a traditional New York bagel but they are delicious nonetheless.

As a native New Yorker who was on the hunt for a no frills bagel, I can’t recommend this place enough! Their bagels are perfect in size, texture and taste! I lived in downtown NLR and would make the drive multiple times a week for my bagel fix 😂

I’ve moved but stand on this being the best bagel shop around Little Rock 💯 a great bagel should be able to stand on its own (maybe with some butter 🤣) and these do just that!

They do have a host of in house made cream cheeses as well which are also delicious! I honestly haven’t eaten anything here I didn’t enjoy. Including the scones. And I kinda hate scones.

Bummer I moved without the opportunity to say goodbye but really hoping they begin to ship their bagels at some point.

Also, shout out the everyone that works here! Always so welcoming, warm and friendly. Miss you all already!

Stop what you’re doing and go get these bagels! They tend to go fast!
