I moved to Little Rock from NJ, and if you’re an east coast transplant like me, you know that Little Rock has absolute trash pizza, bread and bagels. I stumbled upon morningside bagels on uber eats and gave it a try. OMG - this is the closest I’ve gotten to a real bagel since NJ. The owner is actually from NJ and knows how it’s done. Perfect size, rise and flavors. Craving a salt bagel but don’t see it on the menu? No worries - they even accept custom orders if you call...

First and foremost the bagels are delicious. We have been several times and have always had a great experience. This last time the coffees were all lacking in flavor. Mine had curdled milk. They used to be served in real mugs which was a nice touch. Maybe a little extra time and training on the coffee.

Well it was a tasty bagel. I was really wanting a heavy sticky gluten rich New York bagel however. That it was not. I don't eat bagels very often because I was permanently spoiled by eating the real thing.
