Fun place, nice staff, inexpensive drinks and good music Can't ask for much more... Except it's smoking - on the up side, the smoke seemed to be pretty lite. Not sure if I was just lucky or if they have good smoke eaters.
It is EXACTLY what you want from a real life , neon, juke box , shuffle board , pool table , dark, INCREDIBLY SMOKEY bar.However, the burger and fries were very good. The bar maid was hot !The people are wonderful country folk.I can't say a bad word about it.The tremendous amount of cigarette smoke smell is just what I expected, so no whining . The staff the, environment, everything about the Tavern is the perfect cozy watering hole. Great bar food. Prices are right. Not to mention Terry has a wonderful team put together that keep it running like a well oiled machine. The karaoke on Tuesday and Saturday nights is phenomenal. The sound equipment for the live bands that play damn near nightly is amazing. Cannot say enough good stuff about the Tavern. Do yourself a favor and put it on your list. Please just don't sit...
