Came in on a Friday night , not busy. Approximately 5-6 tables of customers. It took 20 minutes to place my order due to the person at the counter having random conversations with both people in front of me. Placed my order and waited for an hr to get our food. Majority of our food was cold when it finally arrived and the rest was burnt to a crisp from sitting under heat lamps while the children that were in the back played and goofed off. Highly disappointed and will not be back.

I live in Alabama and travel thru there every week or so Stopped in yesterday and ordered a stuffed potato It was the worse i have ever had It was ice cold with a spoon full of bbq at a price of 11.49 Didn’t have time to reorder or send it back but was definitely disappointed

We went through the drive-through and ordered two barbecue sandwiches which took 20 minutes to prepare. We had been here one other time and knew food was good. Other than the time, I rated them a 3 because I only had one spot of bbq sauce on my sandwich and they didn’t give us napkins. Should always give napkins in the drive thru. The bbq and coleslaw was very good. It’s the service that was lacking. They made us pull back around so they could wait on another customer instead of getting ours to us in a timely manner. Food was hot and came out quick. Did not have a lot of smoke flavors though. Macaroni and cheese with homemade but not as flavorful as hoping. Pulled pork was moist and their mayonnaise coleslaw was excellent!
Service and Atmosphere is small town top notch. I'm a sampler so I had the side salad: Not desirable on price nor taste though it looked desirable. 1 Rib and 1 Fish: definitely not as good as the first visit. Although the food was not the greatest, I will visit again with my family for the Service and Atmosphere.

Had Smokin Joe’s for the first time last nite at band rehearsal and I was speechless. The absolute BEST jalapeño poppers and collards I have ever had! The brisket & pulled pork was divine. And the sauces & pimento cheese… oh my! I can’t wait to make the drive to McCrory for more!! 5 stars!! Thank you.
