Came to town to eat at Hoots. Wait was two hours. Glad we found Lopez. Some of the best Mexican food I've had. Salsa was top notch as well. Would eat there again.

Something about Mexican restaurants in and around Mississippi (LA., TN., AK. and AL.) All the food is the same. Bland. There are how ever a few exceptions but not this one. Nothing spectacular. Just your regular southern Mexican food.

I am from Texas and I have to say that this was the best Mexican food I ever had in my entire life. I was working in Arkansas and it was close to the hotel and I was so amazed at the food. It was incredible. The service was OK. I think she was new or something. She was definitely not trained, but the food was so good. It really didn’t matter.

Their food is great and they are very nice & respectful and takes care of their customers quickly. I can't wait to get some of them $1 margaritas though. I highly recommend them though❤️❤️

Found this place just passing through on a road trip. The service and the food were fantastic! I highly recommend the quesadillas. Also, I left my wallet in the bathroom and was not able to get back until 5 days later. They kept it safe, and everything was just as I had left it. Very trustworthy people. If I am ever passing through again, I will definitely be stopping to eat. You should too. You won’t be disappointed!

I have traveled all over the US and this little place has the best carnitas, better than California and Texas. The staff are wonderful. We always stop here when traveling US 65.
