If it was possible to leave 0 stars I would. This place has really gone downhill. Service was so incredibly slow. One person ordered a baked potato, and received dried out mashed potatoes which they couldn't replace with a baked potato. Instead they gave us cold fries. This was brought up to staff who shrugged it off. Additionally, steak was overdone and rubbery. Beans were cold. We did not have silverware and when asked were given wet silverware. There are several other places to eat in Mena. Do not waste your time or money here.

The food was excellent!!! We ordered a 10oz. New York strip. It was delicious and cooked perfectly. If that washer enough, the price was unbelievable! I would definitely go back again.

We ride motorcycles to Queen Wilhelmina a couple of times a year. We were happy to find The Branding Iron last time we were in town and loved the bread bar. What a novel idea….several different types of hot, delicious breads. The menu was extensive and I really enjoyed what I got. We ate there tonight and we were extremely disappointed that the bread bar is no longer there. They nixed it and also cut a lot of other things. Menu now consists of two sheets of dirty paper with not a lot to offer. Pizza. A few BBQ items, some sandwiches. My partner ordered a side salad as her side with her meatball sandwich. The lettuce was brown and should have been tossed out. Then, she was charged a dollar extra for that brown lettuce salad. We expressed our sadness over the now-extinct bread bar to the waitress and the cashier. They both said that everybody misses it. I’ll be surprised if this place is even still here next time we’re in Mena. We probably won’t stop in even if it is. Tsk.

Amazing prices, wonderful food and nice atmosphere. Service is a bit slow but not too bad. Definitely will be going back when in town!!!

Staff was disrespectful. My husband ordered a chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy. He received a chicken fried steak literally soaked in grease and burnt mashed potatoes. I ordered a cheeseburger with okra. Brought my burger to me and said they had to make some fresh. Which there were at this point two more booths that were taken. Didn’t get asked for refills on drinks. Service was pathetic staff was lazy..ABSOLUTELY HATED to get up and walk and seat people that came through the door. We will not be back.

The restaurant was clean out waitress took about 10 minutes to wait on us due to holding a baby then when we ordered she asked if we wanted garlic bread and we said yes some people got sat behind us she waited on them pretty quickly the got their bread and I had to ask her for ours I ordered a ribeye med well and got it med rare the waitress got the table behind use their ticket and I had to ask another waitress for ours and had to also ask for silverware

I was thinking of the old Branding Iron.I have eaten here a few times and with the current help, it's excellent. Also the food is excellent ! It's EZ access and friendly. I enjoyed my meal, friendly service and quiet surroundings.

Waitress had better things to do like talk to the other waitress then to take out order. Shrimp was way overcooked. Cocktail sauce tasted expired. No appetizers. Menu was very limited. Only BBQ I saw was BBQ beans. Will not be back.
We ate at Branding Iron for the first time last night and it was amazing!! The service was fast and friendly. The food was delicious and the bartender poured a generous glass of wine- which I LOVED!!!!

Food was great, very tasty. Service was good. Prices surprised us all. The only negative is there are no appetizers, and they ran out of potatoes ? (this happened once before)We will be going back soon. Hopefully, we'll get a baked potato this time

After reading other reviews we were ready to get up and leave. Ask for silverware.We received our food. He got 16oz steak (ordered medium, received dead), baked beans at least we think. Oh and bring your own sauce they call this sauce but um tomatoes pureed taste better. I ordered chick fried steak received chick fried chick it was good, mashed pot cold with warm greasy gravy. Side of okra was best thing we ate.

We ordered delivery and after about fifty minutes or so a man pulls up on a bicycle with our food in the basket. When we took the food inside the steaks were cold (and tough) and the okra came in brick form.Needless to say this is unacceptable but I do hope the delivery guy is getting compensated fairly for flying these filets of boot leather around town E.T. style

We have always looked forward to eating here every time we visited Mena.... never again.... my husband's brisket was dry and tasteless and my pulled pork was so dry it was hard and they tried to cover it with the BBQ sauce but it was too far gone.
