We were excited to eat here. It's great for having a drink and enjoying the ambiance but the steak and bbq leaves much to be desired. My ribs came out refrigerator cold and I don't believe the brisket is cooked in house which reminds me of grocery store packaged brisket. We ordered the xl ribeye medium rare and it came out rare. I would have sent it back but we had already sent the ribs back. I voiced my concerns about our food in the end because we had a lot left over and the waitress told us she was sorry and she could have thrown the steak back on the grill, no offer of a discount for the other meal. She brought the bill, we paid and left. We rented and last minute cabin in Cove and there is a journal from previous tenants, found a note in there that I will add to the review. Only pictures I have are after we picked over our plates since I was expecting a great experience

The food here was not very good quality for the price. For such a large place it was almost completely empty. The waiter was friendly and attentive.

We decided to try this after being treated not so well by a local hibachi restaurant. And we were amazed! Everything we ordered was fantastic and the had some delicious deserts as well! If we are ever in Mena again this will be our go to restaurant!

Early Dinner after long day. In Mena from Oklahoma to hike and enjoy the area
Ordered Trout, sweet potato fries, Coleslaw.
Rueban Sour Krout sandwich on rye and sweet potatoe fries.
All sides were overcooked and underwhelming. Trout was good, Rueban was greasy, meat looked undress and krout cold. Kind attentive Waitress offered to replace the Rueban with a Chessburger and it was cooked as requested and enjoyed.
The atmosphere was pleasant and beautiful place. Will try the steak next time in the area.

Gonna be honest, had high hopes for the place but it ended up being disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend anyone get a steak here, it was terrible. No flavor or seasoning and wasn’t cooked even close to correct. Seemed like others around had same complaints. The wife got ribs and all he sides were ok besides the steak but nothing was brag worthy. Waitress was great, food not so much.

I really wanted to love this place. It looked like it should be a great place to eat. The restaurant was nice looking. It was a log cabin look. Very cozy looking. It was super crowded when we went and there really wasn't a place to wait for your table to be ready without being in the way. I had the potato soup. It was okay. Not good or bad. I also had the chicken stripe with green beans. The green beans are good if you add salt. I got a side of white gravy for my strips. The strips had an odd flavor. My husband had the chicken fried steak. It looked fantastic! However, the taste was not right. All you could taste was the oil it was cooked in. The gravy was super bland. Idk if they were off their game as far as food quality because of how busy it was, but it just wasn't doing it for us. Our waitress was super sweet. The sweet tea was good. They were selling art all around the restaurant. The parking lot is gravel. But the location was right near our hotel.
