This place is fantastic. Best biscuits you will ever taste. Everything we have tried on the menu was great. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

As a local, we rarely go to Skyline Cafe since it’s usually packed with out of town visitors. So today my family decided to forego our usual Sunday breakfast at home and go to Skyline Cafe. I will say we used to enjoy the food there and the service was top notch. Not so much today. There was a small wait time and just a heads up, they only accept checks or cash, no debit cards, which had us heading to the ATM. Upon getting seated, we were promptly greeted and orders taken by our waitress, after receiving our drinks ( minus straws) we did not see her again for over 30 minutes. So for 30 minutes we were not able to enjoy our drinks and my husband’s coffee ran out 10 minutes into the 30, which of course, is not acceptable. Upon receiving our food, we did get straws and more coffee( after asking twice). I will say the food was bland with little to no spices, the bacon unevenly cooked, my biscuit was cold, the gravy VERY lackluster with overly flour taste, and I’m pretty sure my omelet was made with powdered eggs, not fluffy at all, with minimal fillings. Overall the food for my family wasn’t good or bad, just kind of there. I would not recommend and we will not be returning.

It’s almost fast food! I got the Arky Cheesesteak Sandwich and it was a perfect roast for the meat. I loved it.

Beware!!!! Tally your check closely they will steal from you! They only take cash and have handwritten tickets and this may be why. Watch the “waitress” in the Christian shirts - when we were there she had in a black shirt with a cross on front and “Faith” on the back. Dark hair in a pony tail and a black right arm brace persistent snarky look on her face and rude and horrible service from her specifically. She will attempt to steal from you at the cash register and you can see this on other reviews. Although we tipped for the other service providers when we got to the cash register the waitress I described (who may have been the manager) rung the check up and it was $10 more than it should have been. When we challenged her she said oh it’s only $9 and “not a big deal”. We said it is too us and forced her to remove it. We got to the car and found about $4 in other over charges. And yes the food was below average so dont fall for the “world famous” anything. Honestly it was the intentional theft that was the major issue. Shame!
LOVED this place!! They were all nice and even though they were very busy, the food came out excellent and in a timely manner! The breakfast was the Mom's/Grandma's home cooking type of taste and brought some nostalgia. I was from out of town and it was so good I went 2 mornings in a row. If you're ever in Mena AR....this is the place to go!
