We visited after a football game 10/10/25. We had 7 people total on 2 separate tickets. The food was average at best. On 3 orders it wasn't as requested. One of the orders was brought out 3 different times before it was right. The other 2 were just ate anyway without causing a fuss.
Upon paying our bills the party with a single mom taking her kids to eat was charged $12 gratuity and the other party of 3 $8 gratuity! I always tip when the service is as expected which it wasn't. A $20 tip between 7 people is ridiculous. With the meals and the crazy gratuity charge the bills totaled almost $140!
I would have been livid had the service been exceptional and I had left a cash tip at the table. Do better Advacados you're not entitled to a tip when it's not deserved! Would definitely bypass this restaurant and try a different one next time in the area.

They have great specials, food is amazing. I’ve had some great service and some mediocre service. Atmosphere is usually loud. Overall, I’d rate it the top Mexican restaurant in Monticello.
This is our new favorite restaurant, for sure. The prices are reasonable and the food is fabulous. I always have food to carry home.

Stopped for a late lunch. The place was not very busy while we were here between the lunch and dinner periods. I enjoyed my El King Burrito while the wife found her Steak Chimichanga to be pleasing. The chips were fresh and the salsa had a pleasing level of spice was to it.
