Accommodations were basic..no frills. Room was clean. Quiet. Felt safe. I would use again. Very economical. Few restaurants nearby.

Apparently I looked at the wrong website menu. It has been changed since I last ordered a red petit Jean chili dog. What a got was NOT a red petit Jean weiner, it was brown and with not a lot of flavor. The chili seemed to be straight out of a can.?? It had beans in it. Who puts chili with beans on a hot dog? It was okay but I’ll not go back. Staff was very nice, so I’m not rating them. But change your on site menu.??

I lived in Miami for 2 years searching everywhere for a Cuban sandwich as good as Blue Diamond's. None came close! Their Cuban sandwiches are unbelievably great. 10 out of 10.

Great local plate lunch place. One of my favorites. BBQ, catfish, chicken fried steaks, fried pies that appear to be home made. Love the Blue Diamond!

I called in an order and waited 20 min to pick up. When I got there they couldn’t find my order that was placed. I had to wait another 15 minutes for my order. I was on my lunch break and late getting back. Poor service and was still charged full price.

Too hungry to take pic. Got hamburger steak plate lunch. The potatoes and gravy were spot on. Fresh made burger patty, seasoned. Plenty Perfectly sautéed onions. Green beans cooked with real bacon; could have been cooked slightly longer (for beans, bacon was cooked through) and a little more seasoning. Really nice wood interior. Staff is very friendly. Will return. They have like a dozen flavors of ice cream. Have soft serve and shakes as well.

First I would like to say that the young lady who waited on us was very sweet and tried to help. I have been to this restaurant a few times and it was good, but my experience on 1/6/2025 was bad. First we ordered our drinks and I ordered an iced tea. It was nothing but water with a slight tint to it. The young lady said they were making fresh tea, so I asked to bring me some when it was ready. And she did. Good deal. So, we ordered an appetizer and got cheese dip. It was ice cold and the chips were stale. She took the cheese dip and I guess warmed it up in the microwave. It was still not warm. Gave up on it. So, we ordered 2 sandwiches. I ordered the Shaner which is supposed to be a club sandwich which you can pick 3 meats, cheese of choice and bread if choice. My gf ordered the monte Cristo. About that time another group came in sat down and ordered. They got their dinner before we did. Then 15 mins after we ordered, the waitress came back and asked what kind of bread I would like. So I knew it would be awhile. Finally after about a half hour we got our sandwiches. I have no idea how this was supposed to be a club sandwich. It was literally a half inch thick. I opened the sandwich up and it had 3 meats. As thinly sliced as possible. 1 slice of each meat. And the roast beef was about the size of a half dollar. You could see through the slices. My gf said her sandwich was ok but no way she would want it again. The only thing good was the onion rings. We gave up. The worst part...with a tip for the young lady who tried , it was nearly 50 dollars!!! There is no way I will ever go back. I don't write reviews unless it needs to be written. Too many places for less money to get a good sandwich! 😕
