Morrilton Drive Inn Restaurant

I go out and eat at places every so often, but make sure to pick out good places. While driving home from a long trip, I decided to stop by a drive inn that I had remembered was right outside of Conway, and to my surprise from the way it looks outside of the restaurant, I thought, oh maybe they had remodeled and they had done some adjustments. I didn’t expect to walk in and pay $24.00 dollars for 3 burgers and have to pay an extra $3.99 for french fries. The service is horrible, got in, waited for almost 30 minutes, and got a soggy bun, a burger that barely had any seasoning, fries that were luke warm, a drink that cost the same amount as the fries, a 14 ounce coke mind you, Overall this place is not somewhere you want to eat at. After paying $50 dollars for something I could go pay 25.00 dollars for and get better service and better food, I will not return here. Never been so disappointed and dissatisfied with a restaurant.

Just don’t go here. Ordered a chicken club. Apparently that means a piece of overcooked rubber with gobs of Mayo on a bun. No cheese, no veg. Took 20 mins to get that with only 2 other people in the place. Also the bathroom was as close to peeing in a prison cell as I’ll probably ever

Best burger you will have. Takes awhile to get your order but is worth the wait.

The fried green beans were to die for. The food was all cooked hot and tasted amazing. The girls working were all so kind and sweet and very helpful answering our questions. This is a must stop for traveling!

There was a FLY cooked into a ham/cheese sandwich! The hush puppies and fish were so greasy you could not eat them. This place has gone down hill. Did I mention the soft drinks were all flat and it was expensive!

The last 2 times we have came, they have been slow with giving our orders. We were told 20 mins each time and when we show up, they are telling us to pull around the building. I understand short staff or whatever but when you tell a time, customers expect that time. Because I know other places will abide their time, I will be going to them. No more of this.

Great diner food, even when I ordered a chili bun that isn't on the menu (slaw and chili on a hamburger bun). Old time-y diner, not fancu but tons of choices for traditional diner food at good prices.

I travel alot and I always rate every place I eat. This place was definitely a -1.. Charged me more for NOT ordering a dinner ( 3 piece fish dinner $15.99) but because i stated i didn't want meal they charged me $24.00 for 3 pieces. Never heard of such a thing. Because it's all teenagers that work there, they couldn't refund me for not wanting the order. Fish was definitely under cook ( So mushy in the inside that it not edible). As for Ribs.. I ask before ordering, are they sliced off bone. I was told yes, but too my surprise (They where not) (so, I now have a slab of ribs/ with no knife to cut myself that I cant eat). THIS PLACE IS A JOKE..Word of advice DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

We stopped by and ate lunch and WOW!!! The fish was awesome! Literally the biggest fillets I’ve ever seen at a restaurant. Hushpuppies (HUGE)and absolutely fantastic potatoes too. I don’t know about the rest of the menu but this meal is so delicious! I’ll definitely be going back again if ever in the area. I wish I’d taken a photo. It was really a beautiful plate of food.

Wheelchair accessibility: Just anywhere you need you can put a wheelchair. There was a lady at the front of the restaurant at the first table. They just pulled out the chair.

TRAVELERS TRAP!!!!The Mac and Cheese was gritty.The cashier couldn't answer ANY questions about the food, except that the food is frozen and not fresh.I was charged $16 for a chicken fried steak dinner. The M&C is runny and my baked potato was not done. Everything is pre-packaged and bland.Our at-the-table waitress from friendly and attentive.I wish I could have gotten a refund.

Burgers were huge. They were out of catfish. The fish patty sandwich was nothing to write home about. The wait staff was awesome though.

Been going there 4 or 5 weeks now on Fridays with my wife and the food is very, very good. Have went for the catfish dinners which are so good. Ate the BBQ plate today and it was good. Ate every bite, which took all I could do as I am not a big eater. As the commercial goes " Try it, you will like it ".

This place was a joke. Might have been due to it being a weekend and only being 3 teenage girls running it, but it was the worst dining experience me or the wife has ever had. $50 to feed two people I expected good food and service. Took forever to get our food and we were the only ones in the business when we ordered. Food was cold by the time we got it. Chicken fried chicken was 2 chicken strip. Mac n cheese was cold water temp and runny. Fish was ok but slightly undercooked in the thick areas. Hush puppies were a doughy ball of oil. Fried were cold. 2 bottles of ketchup on the table were both empty. Had to go get our own refills. Told the girl sweet tea and got unsweetened. Went back to get sweet tea and asked for more ice and the girl asked "in the cup". Looked like a good mom n pop place, but mom n pop were obviously not around.

This was the worst meal and experience in a restaurant I have had in a long time!! Waited over 30 min and food was cold! I ordered chicken fried chicken Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes..Mac n cheese was ice cold, and out of a box no less..potatoes were hard around the edges and the chicken fried chicken was 2 strips with gravy over them! Went and asked for hot Mac n cheese and waited another 10 min for it to be lukewarm! We spent 50.00 on this meal and wasn’t worth 10.00! Maybe if the owners had actual adults running the place instead of a bunch of teenagers it may have been ok! Would not recommend this place at all!

Waited over 45 minutes for a sandwich and a 2 piece order of fish. GREASY food. The hush puppies were soft, soggy, and furry feeling. No dipping sauce that was requested. SUB-PAR service. Absolutely awful experience.This place used to be a fairly decent place to eat. It has not slowly declined, rather took a nose dive off a cliff.
