We tried the lodge tonight. Horrible food. The presentation looked ok, but food was cold and tasted horrible! Left after a couple of bites, went down the road to town found something good to eat.

Have been here many times food is good and consistent, staff has almost always been nice but tonight they are playing news on the TV which just ruins the vibe. I don’t care if it is Fox, CNN, or regular nightly news. If you have to keep a TV on please keep it neutral & upbeat…like weather channel or the like.

My husband and I went to eat dinner around 6 pm on a Sunday the waitress was wonderful I was excited thinking this was going to be a pleasant dinner. When the food arrived I was disappointed. It was over cooked and very hard to chew. Hopefully they train a new cook and it gets worked out

We went here for brunch after hearing from friends that the restaurant here was good. It is not. We were seated quickly and there were only two other tables of guests. It took a full 5 minutes for someone to ask us if what we'd like to drink (I had coffee and had to ask the waitress later for creamer and a spoon after the busser dumped and ran). Our waitress finally showed up to take our food order. It took some time for it to arrive-strange, as the place was relatively empty.

My wife had scones, which she said were ok but not great, and had asked for cream and was brought a big can of whipped cream, which was odd. I had homefries (tiny portion) on my plate which were undercooked and raw. After delivery of our food, no one came to check if we needed anything else or refills. I had to get the hotel front desk check in person (which was weird in itself being in the restaurant) to get our waitress and to request a do-over on the home fries. The waitress finally shows up and we request refills. Once we'd finished it took another 10+ minutes to get the check. I'm adding these details to, hopefully, relay a feel of the constant waiting for anyone to notice us. Not once did anyone come and ask if we needed anything or if everything was ok.

The food was mediocre, coffee was good. I would have expected a brunch place (that really has only a partial view of the lake) to be pretty busy on a weekend day, but it wasn't at all-probably because people know how bad the service is.

We were hoping this would be a good experience and be somewhere on the lake we'd like to re-visit and stay at sometime. We will definitely not be returning. Extremely disappointed.

We’ve gone to the lodge each time we vacation in the area the past many years. This past Sunday night was the last time I will ever go there. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE AND DISGUSTING dinner experience I’ve ever had. The food took over an hour to order and when some of it came out it was cold and raw and disgusting. Didn’t even get all the food and the few bites we did take made us all sick a few hours later. Terrible experience. Horrible.

We had several meals here over the weekend during the morning brunch service. We enjoyed everything we tried. Portions were large and prices were reasonable for the quality of the dishes. I ate the crab cake eggs benedict and the cakes were HUGE. I couldn't finish it all, but wish I could have. My group ate several burgers and they complimented that they were all cooked to order. The onion rings were enormous, too. I went back the next day and ate the French dip sandwich with homemade chips. Yall, that was the best one I've ever had. I had to post a review just to make sure folks knew to try that dang sandwich. I ate every bite and I think I might explode...but no regrets. 🤣 The staff were very kind, too. They let me hang out at my table for a few hours while my son was taking his diving certification there. I recommend it if you're in the area. It's a nice laid-back environment, good food, and a nice view of the lake. I wouldn't hesitate to come back if I'm in the area again.

Our waitress seemed to be pretty irritated this morning. We were celebrating a big occasion and it was a bit disappointment. I also asked for strawberries and they served with onions and the egg yolk all over them. They also were extremely mushy. I asked about their scones and they buy them just from a grocery store not even made fresh. This was not worth what they were charging. I am pretty upset and will not return to this location. The staff need to be more kind if you’re unhappy at your job find a different one.

We have always enjoyed eating at Mt Harbor. It has a lovely view, excellent service, a good variety of tasty items on the menu and a fine salad bar. Last weekend we had our absolutely best meal there. The new chef, Paul, prepared a special of grilled blackened catfish filets with a delicious homemade pico and grilled veggies over rice. It was scrumptious. He’s promising more creative specials, and we can’t wait to try the next one!!

I would not serve the chicken quesadilla that was served to me to my worst enemy. It appears they prepare their chicken medium rare. Attached is a picture of this atrocity they call a quesadilla.

Ate at Lodge restaurant at Mountain Harbor near Mt. Ida for breakfast. We both had omelettes with hash browns and rye toast. Great toast and they gave us real butter to put on it. My omelette was vegetarian with lots of veggies and my own choice of cheese. I chose mozzarella.A 30 minute drive from Hot Springs but a nice view of the lake and we walked Joplin Campground for fun afterwards.Only 30.00 plus tip, and we took food to go. Where else do you get salt and pepper that you grind yourself at the table?Great service, great food, great atmosphere. We will return!

My boyfriend and I had dinner here this past weekend. We were very surprised by the quality of the food here. They have a great salad bar! There were so many toppings to add to your salad. There is also a daily soup that is available with the salad bar. We ordered the Chicken Alfredo and the Fried Catfish. The Alfredo was creamy and had great flavor. The catfish filets were huge!
