This is a quaint little place with amazing food. The Biscuits and amazing. Jodie was our server and she was great. Husband had the chicken fried steak which was also delicious. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.

This place is obviously popular with locals. It was hopping at 9:30 a.m. on a Wednesday. We got the last table, and the bar was full too. Service was excellent, and the food was good country cooking. We both had the country fried steak with eggs and hash browns. Glad we stopped in during our visit to Mountain Home.

Stopped here for breakfast after an appointment. LOVE the atmosphere, the staff were extremely friendly. The food was very good and served timely.

Well we were on a girls trip early June. We drove an hour to eat breakfast here. There were 6 of us on a Tuesday morning. When we walked in to get seated the waitress seemed overwhelmed by us and said we would not be able to be seated for a LONG TIME. Her tone was not welcoming and we felt like she could have handled us much better. For example, “Thank you for coming (big smile). It will be about 30 minutes before we can seat you. Will that be ok?”

We drove an hour to eat here after the great reviews. Sadly we couldn’t even get seated. The hostess deterred us saying it would be a long time to seat 6 people. Even when we said we could be split that didn’t help. As we were leaving they sat three more car loads of people.

Disappointed in the owner’s Attitude when told what the waitress said to my husband and I about me wanting lunch At around 1015 am and was told it would be a long time but asked how long and wasn’t given an answer then asked another waitress and was told they do not serve lunch until 11 am . I wanted vegetables and chicken strips non that has to be coooked on the grill. The lady next to us with her husband wanted lunch as well and was told the same thing by 2 waitresses and she wanted Spaghetti. No foods that had to be cooked on the grill. After the way the manager talked to me on Facebook we will never go back. My hubby wanted breakfast so I sat there even tho I am a diabetic and needed to eat. But I very rarely eat breakfast foods.
Brenda’s Food is so much better and the owners are so very nice.
