The food is always wonderful! My kids always request Cooyons gumbo when they are home

Excellent food and excellent service. We dined with a party of 7 and ordered cajun pasta, boudin balls, macaroni bites, corn fritters, gumbo, etouffee (best I have ever had) and it did not disappoint. Megan was a great waitress, the food was amazing, the prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was clean, cool and unique. We will definitely eat here again if in the area.

Excellent food and large portions. Service was friendly and on top of our needs. The meat pies, shrimp poboy, and red beans and rice were my favorite. Even the kids enjoyed their meals. We will definitely come back when we are in the area again.

It's wonderful in a quirky sort of way. It's in a refurbished building, so it's not a typical restaurant layout. I enjoy the vibe they have. There was conversation between tables about the food and general questions about their own experiences. Very comfortable atmosphere and the food was quite good. If you are in the mood for cajun, stop on in. You won't be disappointed.

Great find! Boudoin balls, meat pies, and crawfish Étouffée were all excellent. We will be back.

Had fried catfish there Friday, food was very good except for the slaw, it was nothing but shredded cabbage. it was very dry, needs some good dressing. also this time of year you should serve Vidalia onions while the.y are in season. will definately be back

We flew from Charlotte, NC to Springfield, MO and drove to Mountain Home, AK just to eat here and we were not disappointed. The food was great, the staff was fun! We had a good time! If you haven't had gator, this is the place to try it!

Fantastic restaurant!! The best shrimp & grits I’ve ever had! My husband had the seafood gumbo and has had it on many places. He said it was the best he’s ever had. This is a must if you love good food!

Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. Even if they had not been, the food would still be worth the trip. We are on a road trip and Googled "catfish restaurants near me." What we found is the best Cajun food outside Louisiana! We ate entirely too much and enjoyed every bite! Thanks to all the cooyons!!

I am Cajun from southwest Louisiana. Gumbo roux was burnt we could smell it. Red beans were a little hard. Rice tasted like it was left over rice. Alligator bites had chicken mixed in with it. My sister in Louisiana is a Cajun chef and she was not impressed with the food. Gladly pay $100 for the real stuff. We paid $95 and regret paying that much with how the food came out. The waitress was very nice and sweet. Owner you need to step up your game you know Cajun food your from Louisiana. Everthing else was great except the food. I'm just being honest you got a great place and a niche market better quality Cajun food equal more profits. Simple
