For a long time, it seemed like this restaurant was headed downhill. I don’t know what happened recently, but it feels revitalized. The food is amazing now, the rice especially. And you can see the effort they’ve put into changing the customer service and environment. We stayed away for a while, but this newer version will have us coming back every week.

Before covid place was great good hot 🔥 food nice portion sizes. No order say Carnie sada its small meat 🥩 portion with no peppers just onions rice and beans and if order Fajitas meat is just tiny pieces and rest is onions

My wife and I visited this location and as we were seated we explained that my wife had celiac's and couldn't have any gluten or anything touch her food that had gluten in it. As the server said, he understood and the corn chips were ok. So as the manager came to the table after we found a French fry in the chips to let us know that everything in the restaurant that was gluten free was fried in the fryer. The rice was put in the fryer in the morning to cook it is what we were told by the manager. The server told us the rice was cooked by itself. So rice is cooked in the fryer by this restaurant not in a pot or rice cooker like every other restaurant except Chinese fried rice. So there's no gluten free at this restaurant and the other food I had was pretty bad.

Love the food and LOVE THE FLAN!!!... NO ONE BEATS EL CHAROS FLAN... EVERYWHERE ELSE I GO, IT'S OVERCOOKED.
