The food was good and the waitress was nice but couldn't get out of there fast enough. I wouldn't suggest it here if you want a casual dinner. I suggest eating at the farthest table from the bar if you can for some low roar bar noise. If you can get past the locals whooping and hollering, with one that kept making a high pitch whistle that was completely annoying as fk and loud as fk (I guess a 60+ yr needs attention to), you might survive. It's not a an atmosphere for the general public. We ate, paid and got the hell going. Couldn't talk or think really. They have good food. I had the voodoo burger. Definitely a recommendation and has a little heat. Was real good and the wife had the boneless wings. Fries were good also. Didn't take any pictures. Just wanted to eat and leave.

What a mess.
Food was relatively consistent but man what a trainwreck when it comes to service.
First time pretty good - staff was engaging and pretty solid.
2nd time striving for mediocre.
Third time had zero charm - from carry out order and 3 beers to one of the most incredible breakdowns in restaurant management history (My experience working in, owning, and managing restaurants only goes back to '86 - what do I know).
If you can't train skill at least untrain attitude.
Been going to area and this particular location for over 20 years while visiting family.
Make sure you hit this place when the "A" team are working cuz the "B" teams all kinds of R O U G H.
Kudos to the owners for recruiting staff that is diminished in some way, but lets also make sure staff have the direction, support, and tools needed to be, and feel relevant and successful. If we are fair and give them the chance they deserve we all succeed.

I hope they were just having a bad night, but service was slow, waitress was nice. The only thing that was good was the Mill Fries. My cod was tasteless and my shrimp was tough. My husband order a buger medium with bacon no onion, it was raw, no bacon. Sent it back. By the time he got it, we were all done, so we took it to go. Got it home, parts were still raw, no bacon and it had onion. Will not be going back.

We just attended a meeting in the big room at Ole Mill Tavern. The staff was very friendly, very helpful and everything was wonderful.

Came into town and a local friend took us here. Overall had a good time. Met some interesting folks. The owner came in and bought us a couple drinks. The apple pie shots are STRONG "coming from a bartender" I love dive bars and this is a good one to stop into. Only downfall is they don't have darts or a pool table. When leaving we wanted to take a picture in the mill and the owner saw us on camera. Had a bartender come out asking us what we were doing thinking we were too drunk to drive. Kind of threw us off, all over a picture. I'd go back though, it didn't ruin the whole experience for us.

Proceeding to bring back the worng check again. This went on for 4 more checks. She continued to try and have us pay for the table behind us.

Stopped in to try a bite to eat while on a little mini vacation on the river. Food was not great. My burger had zero flavor. I got a burger because I thought how in the world would you screw up a burger. 0 flavor. It is definitely a local bar crowd for sure... so if you're not into that kind of thing avoid this place. Waitress also forgot items multiple times. Probly rate it at 3 to 3.5 stars at best. Burgers and fries are super easy to make right..... they don't

Bartender was friendly and welcoming when we walked in. Waitress seemed to have two or three other tables besides us. Not enough to be overwhelmed. Took 20 min to get the beer my husband ordered. Pretzel app was good. Rueben sandwich was also good. Ordered a side salad but was brought French fries. My husband asked for mayo twice and was never brought any.

Had a group of 10. They were able to seat us quickly. The waitress was very polite and for our orders quickly. She checked on us often until they were really busy (about the time our food was ready). Our group had a wide variety of foods and everyone was pleased. Definitely enjoyed our visit.
