The food is normally good when you get the right order. We've picked things up before and had them give us the wrong order and then want us to come back and pick something else up when we're 6 mi out of town. Or they want to give us a refund and they don't want to do anything else they want us to go out of our way to make their mistake right. I don't think that that is how a business should be ran. Yesterday I placed an order got chips and salsa and buy today not 24 hours later those chips were stale! It is utterly ridiculous. They're really starting to lose ground on their service the food tastes fine but the service really is lousy when it comes to the service you know making sure you get the right stuff or giving you stuff that doesn't even stay good for 24 hours and it's bad. Also they shouldn't have a child running the front register and taking phone calls. At least he looks like he's underage and shouldn't be there doing it he doesn't seem to understand English very well either.

We have ordered multiple times to go and every time we have gotten our food the order has been wrong we ordered one of the fajita meals and they gave us the completely wrong meal as it was a kids meal of the completely wrong

What a cool Mexican restaurant! The decor is a feast for the eyes. With themed chair backs and pictures and murals on the wall. The service was fast. My burrito California was beautiful coming to the table and absolutely delicious! If you live or visiting mountain home you have to come try it.

This is by far, some of the worst Mexican food I've ever had in my life. I'm not sure how this place has the reviews that it does, because based on my experience it's extremely misleading. I'm from California home of the best Mexican food in the United States, in my opinion, And I'm sorry, the food here was gross. I didn't even eat it, I ate 1/2 of one enchilada, there were 3 on the plate. I ate a couple of bites of the rellano and I was done, couldn't gag it down. The cheese inside of the enchiladas AND the Chile rellano was like liquified cheese whiz or melted American cheese slices, I've never tasted or seen anything like it in Mexican food before in my life and I'm old, it should be a crime to label this as Mexican food. They need to find an authentic Mexican chef because this was awful. The inside of the restaurant was done up cute, so I had high hopes. The chips and salsa was good, that's about it. I ordered 3 cheese enchiladas and they came with chicken, I also ordered Ala carte Chile rellano...I asked for the chicken that came with enchiladas to please be on the side instead of on the main plate. The plate came and a big glob of shredded chicken onions and bell peppers in red sauce which were prominently slapped on top of my enchiladas, exactly where I asked them not to be. The waiter didn't even know the menu, I asked him a question and he took my menu and shrugged his shoulders and said hmm I guess we don't have that... Then I found the item myself, so they did have it. Did he just start working there?? He was nice regardless, I left him a nice tip because he did hook us up on chips and salsa .

The food off the menu was very good, we were impressed the rice wasn't overcooked and dry like most Mexican restaurants. That food is deserving of more than the 1 star I'm leaving. The big problem was the complimentary chips were stale. As I paid I told the cashier about it, as they seemed to be the one in charge, and they seemed unconcerned. No apology, no acknowledgment, nothing. As a patron who complimented the kitchen and gave you feedback on stale chips, it's in your best interest to at least commit to looking into it. For the lack of concern, it will be considerable time before we return, if ever and I'm leaving 1 star I can also upgrade later if we return and things are noticeably improved. Problems need corrections, the sooner the better will serve your business well.

Can’t believe anyone would give more than two stars. I wish I could give no stars. My dinner enchiladas came stone cold it had avocados on top nice touch. I took one bite and sent it back. Got the same plate back with the bite gone. after a microwave blast including my avocado. So hot you could hurt yourself. Save some money get a tv dinner you’ll have the same results. Never going back count on it.

Great! This is a close to authentic Mexican food you are going to get in the area. Service was fast and the food was delicious. Will be coming back. I ordered the steak fajitas and my hubby ordered the “carne asada”.
Friends took me here for my birthday. One of the worst meals I have ever had! The only flavor I tasted in the salsa was cilantro, which I like but I wanted some tomato an heat in the salsa. The tequila in my house margarita had a funky taste and I could not finish it. The only thing I really wanted for my birthday was a margarita. Sad. The rice and beans in my burrito had no flavor at all while the chicken tasted just like canned chicken. I will not go back to this restaurant. I know that Mexican food in this area probably will not compare to what I am used to getting in Southern California but this meal was far below even my diminished expectations.

Great food and inexpensive. The chips and salsa are great and I usually get the taco salad which is like a tostada supreme. I'm from San Diego which has world class Mexican food and this place has an authentic flavor profile. Great!
