Anglers White River Resort

Very mixed review here. Let’s start with the restaurant: food was delicious but service is soooooo slow. I had never sat somewhere for so long. Sat for 40 mins before we got our appetizer. Went back because we wanted to give another chance, and the wait for far longer. As far as the room goes, the towels were wet and the beds were uncomfortable. River floating was excellent.

Booked a guided fishing trip late evening, requested Casey, no problems. Went today, amazing!! Rough year here for fishing, high water levels. Casey got us on the fish and couldn’t ask for a more personable and knowledgeable guide! Wife and I had a great time!! Definitely coming back!! Thanks for talking us into it Jillian!!!! Excellent food and service was great I'll recommend this place to everyone

Like other people have said the room's are small. And we had 2 bed's in the room, but both were very uncomfortable 😔 we didn't have any services, we did order food from the restaurant. We were going to eat there but it took over an hour to get our food. They were busy. I'll give them that, but an hour for the simple order we had was way too much. The girl at the front desk is very nice.

We booked one of the loft rooms. It was large and very comfortable. We had a great view of the White River from the balcony.

Ate at the restaurant. The food was amazing. We had an assortment of items. The frog legs and catfish were good sized and delicious with portions being generous. In comparison to Jo Jo's this was significantly better. Will be our new go to spot when in Mt View.

We stopped to grab some food after visiting Blanchard caverns. They have a wide variety of foods. Great service and amazing food. Stop by and get a moonshine flight!

My husband and I came to Anglers with another couple. We had adjoining upstairs rooms at the hotel. All upstairs rooms have a shared balcony that overlooks the beautiful White River.
As the name Anglers suggests, it is a fishing resort, and so luxuries are not a priority. The rooms are clean but very basic. There is a microwave and mini fridge.
The biggest reason to stay at Anglers is the proximity and access to the river! The view from the balcony is beautiful, and it's just a short walk to the shore.

ABSOLUTELY horrible lodging! We are in our 70's and requested a cabin with beds on the same floor (no loft). We saw photos of the cabin we wanted to rent on the website. No one was at the office when we showed up (never was anyone in the office 3 days/nights). We arrived with a white piece of paper taped to the door to tell us which cabin was ours. Tried to communicate with whoever answers and rents out the rooms with no resolve. Very poor management and customer service!
