Nice people and creative donuts, but taste and quality are lacking. The apple fritters are terrible. They look great, but have little to no taste, very little to no apple, and aren't crispy on the outside. Apple FRITTERS should be CRISPY, not doughy and dense. The other donuts look good on the outside but just don't impress. Please rethink your recipes.

This is a find, and so highly recommended!! They make donuts in seasonal shapes even and you can choose your own filling. There are about five to six filling choices, such as cream cheese, strawberry, etc. Every morning they make fresh donuts, but do not underestimate the cinnamon rolls, fritters, and other great treats!!

Today is March the 14th 2025, being type 1 diabetic half my life when I want sugar I am pickey. I live about 30 minutes away from Mountain View and this business, so after some morning errands I stopped in for the first time to try the old fashion style donuts that I saw pictures of online. They have 3 kinds and being a smart married man i am I got two of each lol & I was just casually talking to the Cashier/Baker about how my grandpa would take me for these kind of donuts when I was a kid. I’m 46 now, And I didn’t notice till I got home, but she gave me an extra donut, what a nice surprise. And even without the very kind surprise the old fashioned donuts are better than I even remember. The glazed, blueberry glazed and chocolate topped. I will be back and I will tell about them to friends and family. Thanks you!
As a one leg veteran and living here all my life this is by far the worst donut store in the area by far!! Cold food,rude staff who apparently don't even know how to sell a donuts or what kind they have. I pulled up without my prosthetic on in the drive-thru and when I asked the staff what they had I was told,"They weren't really sure what all they had and to just come inside." Well after explaining I was a one leg veteran and couldn't get inside I was helped anymore and just had to guess and ended with a cold kolache and donutholes. All the locals as far as calico know this place is horrible and hoppiful goes out of business. If your looking for a warm, decent donut make the drive to mtn home where there's actual friendly staff!!
Wheelchair accessibility: Absolute worst staff if you tell them your an amputee and forgot your leg so you can't come in they definitely will not help you what so ever!
Their donuts & breakfast sandwiches are made fresh every morning and taste delicious! They heat your sandwiches for you so they are melt in your mouth warm. The sausage, egg & cheese croissant sandwich is my favorite! The Bavarian cream eclairs are amazing too.
The worker was friendly, but the food was just not good. The kolache is more like a pigs in a blanket, the biscuit and gravy was so very bland. The donuts were fine but didn’t make up for the rest. Just glad that it was cheap because I didn’t eat most of it.

Went on a Monday morning around 9am... Ordered an Apple Fritter, chocolate bar, maple bar and a Kaloch. Not a bad price for all, but they were about unedible. Also, I've never seen white maple. I'm sorry, but I won't be back. Good luck to the owners tho.
