FANTASTIC!!! Great service, food excellent and cheerful atmosphere.
I can see why this place is so busy!

Also, I shopped in the downtown area all morning and asked for a restroom in every place I spent money. (Because it annoys me when people use the restroom and do no business.) Rainbow Cafe finally had one. That may not be a big thing to many but yall, I am a nearly 50-year old Mom and I cannot last all day so THANKS for the restroom!! ?

I will absolutely be back!! Food is GREAT!!!

Note: They do NOT take debit/credit. ?

Incredible service and absolutely delicious food! I'm gluten free and they took great care in the preparation of their food. Laughter and good local chatting amongst many pictures of Elvis. It was absolutely delightful and the food was wonderful ???

Vegetarian options: Vegie burgers woot!

Dietary restrictions: The vegetarian options are also gluten free! Though not labeled.

Kid-friendliness: Booths and artwork to look at and talk about.

My wife and I took a short vacation to Mountain View to relax, experience the live music and explore the area. We invited our friends to stay with us over the weekend. We were looking for a small diner to get our meals as we didn't want to cook while there. As we were exploring the downtown shops, we came across the Rainbow Cafe. As it turns out, it's close to the courthouse square and the Pickin' Park and other venues where music is played. We had breakfast there one morning and the food and service was so good we had every meal there the rest of the time we were in Mountain View.
Although it was very busy each time we ate there, the food came out quickly and service was great. We actually made a couple of new friends there while we were eating. We highly recommend visiting this quaint cafe if you find yourself in Mountain View, AR.

Parking: The Cafe is on the main street just off the courthouse square. There is parallel parking and the spaces are long and easy to get into but they are usually taken during the day. There is a large parking lot at the Baptist church just behind the Pickin' Park that people use when church services are not in session. Other than that, there will be parking out of the area and will require some walking to town.

The absolute best sausage/egg/cheese biscuits we've ever had. Stopped here on the way through town and grabbed a bite for the road. I about died and went to heaven when I took my first bite. So glad we decided to stop here.
