I've only eaten there once but want to go back to try their famous pies! In my experience, the service was fast and friendly, the place is a little cramped but it's comfortable, and tables turn over pretty quickly. The food was well seasoned and all of us were happy with our meals. I was told beforehand they only take cash, I'm not sure if that's still the case.

Great breakfast. The food was excellent. Good slice of ham. The chicken fried steak moist and tasty. Biscuits to die for, large and fluffy. Pies looked so good but didn't get to try them. Great friendly service. A very busy spot.

We went there 5 months ago, the food was awful and swore we would never eat there again, 2 days ago we were shopping in Mountain View and ask a store owner where to eat, she suggested Rainbow Cafe!!! Having not remembered the name months ago we went, set down and ordered, I looked around when they brought the food and said a bad word, I looked at my husband and said this is the place we ate at 5 months ago and it was terrible, and nothing has changed the food and sad to say I got sick from the food, never would I recommend anyone to eat there!!!!

we had been told to go get a piece of pie.. oh my gosh, amazingly good.. I had the almond joy cheesecake..wow.. very good.. next time is for lunch.. definitely want to stop here..

We ate supper here lastnight and it was delicious. Everyone we asked said it was the local favorite and they were right. Everything we had was seasoned well and tasted great. The restaurant was clean and our waitress was very friendly and helpful. They make delicious homemade pies too!

Also, I shopped in the downtown area all morning and asked for a restroom in every place I spent money. (Because it annoys me when people use the restroom and do no business.) Rainbow Cafe finally had one. That may not be a big thing to many but yall, I am a nearly 50-year old Mom and I cannot last all day so THANKS for the restroom!! ?
