It's very hot on the field, so bring lots of water and electrolytes. There is a lot of room, so you can dig wherever you want inbounds. I had two children with me, and it was pretty easy to keep them engaged. They told us about all of the different kinds of rocks we found and everything!
My spouse and I stopped by after some diamond hunting for our honeymoon and I was surprised when we pulled up that it was a gas station and a dual restaurant with baskin robbins, I was expecting a buffet as advertised but no biggie. We ordered our food and was ready within 15 minutes. The pizza and salad I got were fantastic. We also got boneless wings and a toasted sandwich. I was actually not expecting much. Was tired and hungry after all day at the diamond mind. Pizza sounded easy. 2 medium 2 topping pizzas for $15. And they were pretty dang good. If I lived around here, I would definitely go back often. Oh, and it was ready in under 20 minutes.
