Other than the quietness from us being the only people in there the first time, loved it. Second visit it was busy during lunch so everyones conversation made good back ground noice. Customer service was super welcoming. Waitress didn't hover or rush us with ordering or the bill. Food was fresh and filling.

Went looking for diamonds all day at Crater of diamonds.. stop in town for some shopping and a bit to eat.. this place looks good and all the locals say it's the best..lol... Great place, food was great.. so try it out you want be disappointed... FYI... The burgers were the best along with chicken fried chicken... Fried pies don't try didn't care for unless you get it with ice cream.... Have fun Yal.lol....

On vacay from Alabama....Stopped in for lunch today and had the hamburger steak, gravy,fried okra,salad, hamburger and cajun fries. Food was fantastic, the atmosphere was great and our waitress was fantastic!! We'll be back in the morning to try their breakfast!! Highly recommend!!
Was in town on vacation visiting crater of diamonds from 2 states away. Had been in town all of 2 days and ate there Monday night 10/7/24 for dinner. I ordered off the kids menu since I don't eat a lot, I got the kids popcorn chicken and sidewinder potatoes with ranch dressing. Food was ok but not great didn't think much of it. About an hour later I got so violently ill that by the next afternoon I was at the hospital in Nashville getting much needed help and figuring out with my insurance the best way to get me home. I was diagnosed with a severe case of food poisoning and they helped get me stable enough to get me home 2 days later so 3 days after I got ill. I literally lost 11 pounds in just those 3 days, I have never been scared when sick before. My partner and I both left 2 messages each (4 total) trying to get management at this restaurant to give us a call back but it's been radio silent. We really think it was just the ranch dressing and we just wanted to let them know they might want to throw it out and start a new bottle and see if we could at least get their insurance information to help with costs (I haven't even received the hospital bill but I'm out quite bit already between prescriptions and emergency trip back home, not including losing money from having to cancel or trip early) but the lack of response from this establishment is astounding and leaves me to question if it was the just the ranch or they are dodging me because they are trying to cya. Most of the staff was friendly and was great while there but one server was extremely rude and just let her 2 children wander around in and out of the kitchen touching everything and getting into everything. It was rude and very unprofessional. I guess hindsight is 20/20 kids in and out of a kitchen without washing their hands after being in the bathroom.

Absolutely love this place. We were treated like we were family and we all acted like we've known each other for years. Food was excellent and compliments to the chef. We went there for dinner. We planned on leaving early in the morning to continue on our vacation but we decided stay longer so we could go back for breakfast. Definitely recommend.
One waitress was so friendly and the other was like we were bothering her. But she was friendly with everyone else. The food was good.

Cozy little place to get good food. It is a small town meeting place as we saw a lot of locals interacting and joking around, the prices are super reasonable. The French toast was delicious and the coffee was fresh.
