Excellent spot to get home-cooked and delicious foods. You must try the chicken fried steak plate, or Catfish plate. Two of my favorites and get treated like family. ?? never have I had a badexperience,and oh yeah.. homemade dinner rolls , pies and cakes too

I and the wife stopped there Sunday morning at around 11:30 for a fast bite on our way to petit Jean State Park.They were busy so I told the wife to get our order to go so we could get back on the road.45 minutes later we were still waiting on our to-go order so my wife just canceled the order and we got back on the road.I could have cooked our own meal at home in that length of time.

Absolutely great place to eat great food, big portions, and honestly great omelets, true southern sweet tea. Very down home feel to the atmosphere good old fashioned wooden porch. And talk about friendly staff it's like eating at home with family or old friends definitely a must for anybody either passing through or locals alike.
