My fiancé and I LOVE el puente. This is our go to spot. We have been coming once a week for the past several years. It’s our weekend date night spot! The food is absolutely phenomenal. I have tried lots of items on the menu and have never been disappointed. There’s tons of Mexican restaurants in the area but none hold a candle to the service, consistency, and quality of this restaurant. All of the wait staff and hosts are very kind and welcoming. I’m always modifying my food to come up with even more delicious combinations and they always deliver and never make me feel like I’m a pain in the butt lol. They are also very quick about getting your food out. They can be so busy and we still get our order quickly.

Went with a friend and ordered taco salad, which comes with shredded cheese. The food came and the shredded cheese was missing and the bottom of the shell was half full with liquid. Asked for the cheese and when the bill came we were charged for the cheese that was supposed be on the salad to begin with. They refused to take the charge off. Highly disappointed about their service. It went down from when they opened. They snapped at us when it was pointed out that we should not be charged for something that is included. Won’t go back, felt like they were dismissive and did not care.

Amazing Chimichanga! I got a shredded chicken one, it was steamy, crunchy, and drenched in cheese. I also LOVE their fried ice-cream! Try it !!😃
The service is great, they are all polite, quick, and don't bother you while you're trying to chill! They come by when your drink needs topped off, you're out of chips, or if they notice you looking at them when they go to and fro. Or if you haven't ordered yet, obv :)
Atmosphere is typically chill, dinner-time and event-adjacent days have slightly more chatty customers in 3-6 ppl groups. Relatively casual, no one would blink twice at camo, but the same for date-esque clothes. I've eaten there both on dates and with friends (dressed differently for each) and was treated the exact same, including by other customers (politely minding their own business).
Update: Josie is our favorite server!! Everyone is great, but he is even more kind, courteous, and attentive. Even when they're really busy, he keeps us topped up on drinks, chips, and salsa! He makes us feel very welcome and has become one of the reasons my fiancé and I love eating here! :)

The food was so gross. The taco was so soggy you couldn't even pick it up. Rice had no flavor. I found a few random potatoes in my burrito. Margarita tasted like juice. We were here for a race and should have picked the other Mexican restaurant. We definitely will next time.

This place has great food, friendly great service, an overall great experience. Side story, we left the key fob for one of our vehicles here, two months later, not only did they remember us, but also returned our key fob to us. We were not regular customers, but mow we will be.

We got there 20 minutes before closing and they turned us away. They were already closing the restaurant before actual closing time. Been there a couple times before and it's not the same quality and service it used to be. Won't be back for a very long time.
