I really wished I would have taken some pictures of my food because it looked great. The food was absolutely absolutely wonderful. Sushi is one of my favorite dishes and for a little hole in the wall place was absolutely wonderful thank y’all for the wonderful food. The amazing service this is a must eat place so y’all get it

I had the tempura shrimp, sushi, and the edamame. Both were excellent. Service was also very good. The atmosphere was not so great because someone was working on a ladder doing some work while I was there. I am not sure what was being done or why it had to be done during meal time.

We ordered dinner to go, hibachi chicken and the teriyaki bento box. Large portions, not amazing flavors but the yum yum sauce helped a lot. Miso soup was yummy. California roll was not good, way too much rice and not enough filling. Crab rangoons and gyoza were store bought frozen, not handmade, disappointing. Just passing thru so we won't be eating here again for sure.

I only got a to go order. Boyyyyy when I tell you WHAT. Their sushi is good. But if you want a platter of rice around the sushi, this is the place to go. 10% filling. Rest of it is rice. I overpaid for sushi. Not Seaweed and rice. Lmao the fried rice is passable. Steak/beef was great and tasted really good actually. Vegetables were normal. Overall, I give it a C- or D+

I gotta admit, when I pulled up for the first time and saw the building's state, I didn't expect the incredible restaurant inside. But, the service was great, the food was better, and I will definitely be coming back. They 100% earned the 4.8 star rating. I got a bento box and my boyfriend got hibachi. Both were very good. The prices were very reasonable, especially compared to most Japanese restaurants. Would definitely recommend to any and everyone.

Pretty expensive and not very good Japanese food. Fried rice did not taste fried. Veggies were steamed. Salad had an almost pure mayonnaise dressing, not the typical ginger. Shrimp was ok. I don't ever want to go back.

I was in Newport for some training so I saw SOSU when I drove by so I decided to get some dinner to go! I was greeted very nicely when I entered the door and I felt respected! If any questions he answered him very quickly and the food came out very quickly! The food was very delicious 😋😋
