All the food and service were absolutely amazing! There were 4 of us. My daughter was craving brisket all weekend and she finally found a place that had it. She gave it a 10! We live in St. Louis,MO. And take an Arkansas road trip, and stop in again.

Was on our way back to St. Louis from Little Rock and we pulled off to grab something to eat. Started looking at places and The Angry Possum caught our eye.
A week after Snowpocolypse 2026 the streets were still a bit shady, snow packed with ice but we gave it a go.
Ladies inside were amazing with that southern twang and charm you always hear of! I got the grilled buffalo cheese and OMG! Where have you been my whole life! Daughter got the brisket, wife the chicken strips and granddaughter just grilled cheese and we were ALL satisfied!
Will definately roll past again in the future! Good luck to you all!!!

This is definitely a hidden gem. We live in St. Louis, MO and had to make a trip to Arkansas. If you're ever in the area. I would highly recommend this place. The food is amazing and service was phenomenal! We will definitely go back!

My friend invited me to go eat there. My gps pulled up the old place and it was for sale. I called him and he said they were open and we had reservations. Sure enough, it had moved and was open. Unique decor, but is The Angry Possum. The beer was cold, the food was good and the bucket of Nachos was great. Service was good. I will definitely go back again!

Me and my wife went there today order an appetizer we ate it by the time the food came to our table I was full. 10 minutes later she asked about the food. I told her I was full of the appetizer. I took the food home and ate it. It was amazing and me and my wife will go back to angry possum more times in thw future

Do not order the brisket. Huge disappointment. Waitress admitted it's not smoked in house, but ordered from a food truck and reheated. I got 2 inedible slices, 8 pieces of okra and 4 bites of Mac and cheese for $15 because they took 20 % off my plate.
