Heidi's Ugly Cakes and Sandwich Shop

The Reuben sandwiches are the best when my grandkids come into town first place they wanna go is Heidi‘s ugly cakes. 😃

I had the bologna and my wife had the blt, both were delicious. I wish we would have brought home a few more cakes but I know we will be back. Too many good looking things on the menu not to.

Excellent food! Staff are all great! Heidi is the sweetest! Her desserts are the best!

High fives all around!!!’ We had loaded potato soup, tomato bisque, grill cheese and the patty melt. The fried pies were amazing!!! Check out the awards on the door This is a hidden gem in small town. The staff was upbeat and friendly. We had family from Washington state, we just lucked into this amazing place. There lots of locals there. Rest assured we’ll be back

The Dolly reuben was outstanding! The potato salad was just right!! The coconut cake was by far a simple, downright, delicious piece of cake!! Can't wait to try the other sandwiches, especially the burnt bologna, and all the other 10+ cake options!! Service was spot on perfect! She even cut our whole order in half for me and my husband! I forgot what the pie was I had there the last time it was something unusual, but it was the best pie I had ever had

okay so we drove through this little town after we left another little town looking for food there were only a couple options one had already closed for the day at 1:30 and this was one of the two options left at first we were like I don't think so but my husband was starving so we went ahead and went in... Good thing we did.

hottie actually is the owner and operator of ugly cakes and sandwiches and while the weight is kind of long to get your order in during peak times and getting your food it's worth it.

One thing you won't want to miss is the potato salad this is some award-winning State Fair level potato salad. I chose to get a hamburger my husband got a sandwich can't remember which one he got because I had quite a few just odd combinations whatever but he really enjoyed it quite a bit and my burger was good.

we also had a couple hand pies while we were there he had cherry and I had blackberry and they were both excellent.

If you happen to chance through here between mountain view and mountain home definitely give it a stop and get a bite

It was a tiny place with the stench of cooked bologna. It is what colloquially would be called a greasy spoon.

We ordered pastries after being told about their quality. They were not great. The person who told our party about the restaurant thinks decent food comes from a vending machine. So not a shock that it didn’t live up to the hype.

Was absolutely worth the drive out of the way to go to this shop for lunch!!! We had the special (can't even remember the name of it now) and a patty melt, then ordered an ugly cake and peanut butter pie to go. Every bite was to die for! It smelled so good when she brought it to our table that I actually forgot to stop and take a photo before devouring half of it. It was so filling that we had to take dessert home for another day... Which also was to die for!

I recommend the drive out to see Heidi and her shop!

Let me tell ya, the food here is fantastic! The Reuben, BLT and grilled cheese on jalapeño cornbread are my favorites. Always with a side of potato salad. My son loves the Wilber and the Jack sandwiches. The owner has a sign at the register “Choose Kindness” and boy does she live it! Can’t say enough good things about this fine establishment!

We were in Heber Springs at the Ozark Angler fly shop and they directed us to the youth fishing spot at Dry Creek. They mentioned that we had to go to Heidi's. They were right!! This place is fantastic! Food, atmosphere, everything is great.

The Oreo cheesecake is heavenly! My son’s request for graduation celebration! Heidi is amazing always a smile and a hug! Highly recommended!

This place absolutely has the best ham and cheese sandwich I ever had!!!! It was so good I had it 2 days in a row. ? if you're in the neighborhood and it's lunchtime stop by. You won't regret it, I promise! My wife the club and absolutely loved it! Thank you Heidi ?❤️?
