Went to Norfolk Brewing Company today, Father’s Day, as treat for my husband. The service was good. We ordered the bison cheeseburger pizza. There was very little burger on the pizza. Very little cheese. On top of that it was burnt on the bottom. I did complain, they did offer to make a new one. But we just ate what we had. They did comp 25% on the food portion of the bill. But we also asked for a grower to be filled. $33.00 and it wasn’t even full. Never going back.
We've been loyal fans of this spot for years — the beer is consistently fantastic, the pizza never disappoints, and the margaritas are some of the best in town. It’s been our go-to for everything from casual nights out to gatherings with friends. That’s why it’s so disappointing to see how far the service has more than slipped lately. What used to be a well-run, welcoming place with efficient, friendly staff now feels chaotic and unorganized. The wait times have gotten painfully long, and it often feels like the staff either isn't trained properly or just doesn’t care — which is tough to say about a place we've loved for so long. We’re rooting for this place to get back to what made it special. The food and drinks are still top-notch — but the service needs serious attention. We hope the owners see what's happening and step in, because we'd really love to keep supporting this place the way we used to.
Great pizza. Enjoy this local find.
We used to come to Norfork Brewing when we lived in MH and the beer and atmosphere were phenomenal. We moved away and coming into town for Thanksgiving, my only request when coming to town was to visit here. The beer is no longer the same 🥺 my husband ordered the Scurvy Dog IPA and it had no hops and all fruit, we thought the bar tender poured the shandy on accident. He asked to swap it out and again, so fruit forward. The bartender said the brewer changed the recipe and made it with more grapefruit. It’s not good at all. My in laws ordered a mixed drink and the bartender didn’t know how to make them. Said she’d bring it to the table and she continued taking other orders so my FIL had to go back up to grab the drinks. There were two cooks making food and one bartender. The bartender was also running the food so it took awhile to get another drink. Unfortunately, this will be our last time here.
Great little brewery. The people are friendly. The food is good. Beer is good as well. Pet friendly
3 good things. Pizza was hot. Beer was cold. Bartender was nice. After that it was bad. So bad we were offered canned beer because what was on tap was a bad batch. The table was so sticky that when the bartender cleaned the table half the paper plate stayed with the table. There was enough raw flour under the pizza after cooking to start a new one. And the worse part was watching the pizza cook go outside smoke a cig, see they needed to go back in, put the cig out, save it, and go back to making pizzas without washing her hands. I have been coming here since it opened and have defended it with excuses from friends that said it was bad but I can’t anymore.
Best cocktails I've had in recent memory, Pizza was outstanding (we had the CBR chicken bacon ranch) and the service was outstanding. They were busy on a college GameDay but everything rolled out smoothly. I don't know when I'll be back but when I do, this will be on the short list!
Nice little place to stop for a bite with a good variety of beers made on premises. Their Pizza were excellent and I highly recommend it.
A great oasis in an up and coming resort town. Norfork is on the rise and so is Norfork Brewing Co. This fun watering hole has a great selection of locally brewed craft beers and now serves limited food options. It is centrally located in the heart of town. It has a comfortable relaxed atmosphere with fun decor, themed lavatories, pool table, darts, and a great view of town. This is a must stop during your visit to the area.
Food was phenomenal! We ordered a pepperoni pizza and Hot wings. Let me tell you one thing this place knows how to make is pizza. BUT their service was bad I waited 1hour and a half for pizza. If it wasn’t for that I would’ve called google and told them if I could add 5 more stars

Just terrible tasteless food. Like really bad. And I can tolerate most gas station food. Go somewhere else
