Stopped here with my husband as we wanted traditional home cooking. And they did not disappoint. The fried pork chop was delicious, the fired okra was not over breaded and looks like it was pan fried, the sweet potato casserole...I could do an entire meal of it. The chicken fried steak was bigger than I expected and the white gravy that topped it was hands down some of the best I have had. The potatoes were seasoned, but not overly salty so they mixed well with the gravy. For desserts, something we normally don't do...we tried their coke cola cake... my husband said it was just as good as his mama's.

Update : I had the Beef tips over rice (one of the Thursday specials) with okra, great Northern beans and cucumber salad today and it was one of the best lunches I've had in a long time. The hot food was hot, well seasoned and very tasty and the cucumber salad was cold and crisp with a sweet/sour balance that was great. If this special is available, don't miss it!
Original: The burger is really good - hand patied, thick, juicy, well seasoned burger with lots of fresh veggies (the have a produce market attached)! Pretty good breakfast too. Nice staff. A new regular for me!

Chicken and dressing was terrible. Chicken was canned, no gravy--chicken broth was poured over the top. Dressing was bland with a touch of sage, no Chicken flavor whatsoever. Side dishes were good. Zelda Riley Little Rock, AR
