Stopped here with my husband as we wanted traditional home cooking. And they did not disappoint. The fried pork chop was delicious, the fired okra was not over breaded and looks like it was pan fried, the sweet potato casserole...I could do an entire meal of it. The chicken fried steak was bigger than I expected and the white gravy that topped it was hands down some of the best I have had. Update : I had the Beef tips over rice (one of the Thursday specials) with okra, great Northern beans and cucumber salad today and it was one of the best lunches I've had in a long time. The hot food was hot, well seasoned and very tasty and the cucumber salad was cold and crisp with a sweet/sour balance that was great. If this special is available, don't miss it!
