I got the 8th Ward smash burger w/ grilled onions and it was amazing. My friend got the steak and it was pathetic. Not only was it more fries than steak but the steak itself wasn't great. Also $105 for 3 people is outrageous.
8/25 - The the bartender in the selection and the brought options continues to impress me. Probably one of the best on this trip. (6/2025) update - food, service and reasonable prices continues to make this place good. (Previous review) Good spot for good food at reasonable prices. Drink menu is great! Plenty of options - the bartender & the service team are excellent. Kudos to the management for running a great operation. Will be back soon.
We stopped at Brood and Barley just before a show at Argenta Community Theater. My mother and her friend had come here once before and loved it, so they wanted to show it to me and my friend. We started off with the Shush Fires and the Crispy Blue Chips as an appetizer. I am not a big fan of blue cheese, so I stayed away from the chips, but the shush fries were pretty good.
