Becca checked out once she realized we were “only” ordering the house wine. We then each ordered an entree Mine was Alfredo which I added chicken. He ordered Carbonara and added chicken. She asked which salad we wanted House or Cesar. I didn’t really want one my husband got House. She said you really don’t want one so I said I guess I’ll get a House. we also ordered a half pepperoni half plain pizza. Becca corrected us…half pepperoni half cheese. The salad was disguising. It came with a slimy white vegetable on top. Neither of us ate more than two bites. The pizza arrived in sad shape. It was barely cooked and very white. Our dinners arrived mine arrived with three tiny pieces of chicken, his had none. We had to flag down someone to get his chicken. Three tiny pieces were brought out. My Alfredo was like water and milk were mixed together. It did not stick to my noodles. His carbonara was fine. We then waited 40 minutes for our check. When Becca finally stopped by she asked what desserts we wanted. All our plates were full of good. She asked how many boxes and we said none. Just the check. We were shocked to pay over $125 for such a sad experience. I would not recommend.

patas carbonara will be lot of better if the chef respect the recipe creme brulee white chocolat original but no good
Capeo always stands up to its best. Everything was lovely. My husband and and I shared the elk with eggplant and cherry tomatoes. The mushroom soup was off the chain good!!!! Chocolate mouse & white chocolate crème brûlée for dessert for a great finish.
Dinner at Capeo is always a pleasant experience like no other. The food is amazing, and we have never had a bad dish. Never be afraid to try something new; you will not be disappointed.
Love the food as always but when a couple makes a reservation we should not be put at a table next to a party of 12 that obviously where having fun no doubt but overly loud where we couldn't even have a conversation between two people
Our server Tina had perfect timing and was attentive and friendly. The food was wonderful as always. The maitre d' was so polite and helpful to the grumpy couple in front of us. Smooth as butter and managed to make them happy!
Yes one of your servers Dale was extremely rude and he was seen spitting in the food
Something has changed here, the food quality is no longer excellent and left me feeling like something was missing.
Fabulous dinner experience on a Friday evening! Service was phenomenal & the food was outstanding. Matthew (our server) was friendly and accommodating, and was able to make a few recommendations.
I had the butternut squash zuppa and the Chef’s Special 8oz elk cut (from New Zealand), cooked rare, served with seasons veggies (zucchini, carrots). I was tempted to gnaw on the rib bones it was so good!
My wife had the Caesar’s salad & tomato soup, also outstanding. I also had a glass of the Wild Thing Old Vine Zin, it complemented the elk very well.
I would highly recommend making a reservation on the restaurants website before you go, it was decently busy when we got there at 7:30pm on a Friday evening the day after New Year’s Day..

We were very excited to visit our first time, reservations were for 6:45 last night..greeting buy 2 host that promptly told us that they had late reservations at 8:45. Ok..I've been in the food industry for 40 plus years. My husband and I love to explore great places to enjoy an evening. We've never have been given a time frame to leave a restaurant. Becca was our server greeting us promptly. Ordered our drinks and have to ask for bread? Our appetizer was the bruschetta for 13$ 3 pieces of bread it was OK. Split the Ceaser salad very good. Did not order our entrees until we were in the middle of our salads. The veal parm and the veal alla capeo. The hubby got a bowl of spaghetti veal and mozzarella that had no color no effort. Mine was Ok...not pasta side 35$ and ya...7$ for some spaghetti with no tomato no garlic, basil, just a white on white bowl. Not to mention we had to ask for ground pepper and a spin of cheese. Checked the bill out and we weren't charged. Just as we were finishing up our entrees one of the hosts came back to remind us about the upcoming reservation, nice touch. Ordered two desserts, white chocolate creme brule, and the pistachio cheesecake both were outstanding! 177$ l have absolutely no problem paying for a lovely dinner in fact I look forward to but our quest for a wonderful fine dining italian restaurant in Arkansas shall continue

We Love Capeo, and dine there often. It is generally on point, and the service fantastic. Jason, our server was perfect. Knowledgeable, prompt, was there when needed but not hovering. We had a preshow meal on a Thursday Night. Our reservation was at 5:00. Our show started at 7:00, so we had no problem finishing well before the 7:15 time we were told the next guests would need the table. We've been told that (2hour limit) before, as a couple, but never for parties of 4 or more. We all had Lasagna, which my wife and I shared. Always tasty. Well, this time it was cool, almost cold in the center. It took 50 minutes to arrive. Our two friends also got lasagna, but the vegetarian variety. Theirs too, was cool. No time to reorder or send back, which left us all unsatisfied. Lasagna, which we were warned would take 45 minutes to prepare, (one would construe that to mean fresh?) should never be served nearly cold. We will certainly return, and we still recommend Ristorante Capeo to all. It has always been superb. So, one less than stellar visit, out of dozens, will not deter us. Two different lasagna, both cool, was inexplicable.
Excellent Italian restaurant in downtown North Little Rock. The food was superb! Our server was great and the restaurant nicely done. Very comfortable place. We will be back!
Went for anniversary, it was wonderful! Food and atmosphere were great.

The restaurant setting is perfect for a date night. From what I understand the building is over 100 years old. The food was average. Having recently made a trip from Rome and being Italian myself, I wasn't that impressed by the sauce on lasagna or the Carbonara. We order an appetizer of calamari which was cold, fishy and not dipping sauce. Once the sauce was ordered, it was forgotten and brought after the appetizer was cold. They removed it from the tab without us even saying anything or implying we were un content. Service was good but our waitress seemed distracted causing her to forget what was asked for. Desserts were amazing. Tiramisu, Creme brûlée and Italian ice cream- all good.
Firstly, the staff and ambiance/design was wonderful. My waitress and the person training with her were great and attentive. The host was very friendly. Service was quick and helpful. The food was underwhelming, not bad, but very underwhelming for what I expected. I may not come back again, but I don't want to put someone else off from trying it.
