It is the classic down south tender loving care soul food that you grew up loving or wish you knew of. Definitely not one of the places that the meat is loaded with salt so it is one of the few more healthier locations to go to.“

“First time there. Everything was delicious. We had the trio appetizer and oh my the gumbo. Husband had shrimp Alfredo and I had blackened fish with crawfish sauce on bed of rice. Both were very good, almost got a gumbo to go to have for tomorrow but Big servings we both have leftovers. Service was great!!!“

“It was just me with my dog today. I really wanted to grab some of the great meats at Hoggs, but it was too hot outside to leave my sweet dog in the car while I grabbed a few things inside. So, I called and explained my situation asking if they would gather my order so I could quickly go in and pay, grab my food and get back to my dog. The person I spoke to said they love dogs, bring her in and she would get my order ready while the two of us waited. How awesome is that?! Talk about service!“
